It's Springtime in Eastgate Park for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so over the next week or so, I'll be bringing you scenes of everything that's going on. Today there are several people jogging in the park. Preston is out for his morning run.

He sees that Caryl and Maldwyn have just sat down on the bench.

He goes over to have a chat with them.

Then it's back to his deliveries.

Jodie and Linnea are out rollerblading together.

They see their friends Heimir and Emmett.

They all stop to have a chat.

Thn Emmett and Heimir skate off..

...while Jodie and Linnea stop to drink the apple juice which Jodie has brought.

Ilana is taking her daughter Winter and friend Maisie rollerblading.

She lets go of their hands.

Oops, they've fallen over!

Ilana helps them back up again.

Ilana's friend Aoife arrives.

She helps Ilana take the children rollerblading.

Yay! Some great tennis today, Sadie definitely has style.. and love the rollerblading.. Yes it's definitely cooler in playmo land , it seems ( Way Cooler in all ways ! 😎)..

A very outdoorsy lifestyle!

Yay tennis! I’m pleased to see they’re playing on clay which is very timely with the French Open being on.

I also loved the boating pond. Our town park used to have a boating pond but they filled it in and turned it into a sensory garden (which is also very nice but I miss the boats!)

Love the boating pond too. There's one on CLapham Common and you can hire boats to sail on it. Some of the dogs go nuts chasing them up and down from the bank...

Also love that Martina plays tennis!

I bet Caryl and Maldwyn have some stories to tell! I reckon they went backpacking around the world in their twenties.

Thank you all! I had the tennis court left over from the PlaymOlympics a couple of years ago. I deliberately made it a clay court, as that was what they were using in the real Olympics!

My uncle in his sixties did a paper round to help out the local shop in the village he lived it when they were short for a couple of weeks. I am imagining him on roller skates, which would have scared the living daylights out of the posh close that was on his round.
