Where do you keep your handbag?

Not a life threatening issue I know, but it’s beginning to bug me!

On Pinterest people seem to keep theirs neatly hung up in their colour coordinated wardrobes, maybe on a special bag hook on the inside of the door. I keep mine by the side of a chair in the front room and sometimes it leans, sometimes it gapes open and I dont really want visitors seeing the inners of my bag!

where do you keep yours? I want it easy to grab when I’m heading out, but stored more neatly!

Do people only have one handbag/not change them? I have several in different colours and sizes and change them depending on what I’m wearing and how much I need to carry.

Most of them live in the wardrobe. I empty them when I get home and put them back in their dust bags.

On the shoe rack by the door

I hang my walking stick on the stairs and hang my bag on my walking stick. It's ingenious, keeps them together and halves the distance I have walk when fetching them to go out. Cos we usually leave through the back door and our coat hooks are by the front door, the stairs are in between.

I have one that I use daily. I only change them for social occasions or to go with special outfits.
