Is there a Mumsnet corner for full-time carers at home?

Is there a thread / corner of Mumsnet for carers who are not working.
It gets quite lonely not being able to work or get out much due to caring responsibilities
I have had a look but couldn't see anything

I don't know if there is, but I'm in the same boat. I have two autistic DC and no childcare that would take them (or at least that wouldn't cost 5x what I'd earn). One of the kids is currently out of school until at least September, and even when they were attending, I was getting called in so often for meetings or to pick up early, that working wasn't really feasible.

When their dad was around I used to work nights, and really miss the adult conversation, but apparently caring for them is "too stressful" for him, so it's all on me now

@Blueswan3

Perhaps start the type of thread which would be useful for your circumstances on the Carers board
