How to actually pull in a club?

hannah181 · 15/05/2026 15:41

All my friends seem to do it but I always seem to be the one left out or getting rejected by guys after approaching them. What do I need to do? Change what I wear change my approach I honestly have no idea now

I used to wear a low cut top and flick my hair about. Sideways lingering eye contact a couple of times - jobs a good'en 😊

These are the same seduction techniques given in Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle : ) One of my favourite movie scenes : )

''Flirting is something that can't be taught'' ...

is it Jumanji #2 where Jack Black is trying to teach that girl how to flirt? Biting her lip and walking funny. Hilarious 🤣

Yes, that's the scene I was referring to : ) It's brilliant!

For number 2 give me some ideas

Bit weird. Almost like this is all a creepy bloke 🙃 if you’re not interested in guidance on anything but what to wear, you may as well look to your friends, given they’re successful and you are not, if ‘pulling’ is the goal.

Can you say that message in English

I think that might be the problem 😆

Short dress, low cut top.

I do agree. OP's lack of social skills are quite clear in her replies here.

You are very abrupt, if you talk like you type on here that will be why.

This is what I was thinking when the OP was rude to the earlier PP whose post was completely understandable.

And now barking at someone 'Give me some ideas'.

Rude and mannerless is going to make dating difficult.

You need ideas for tight and revealing clothes?

hannah181 · 16/05/2026 17:46

LondonPapa · 16/05/2026 17:35

Judging by a night out I had recently, it’s the exact same. Skirt up over your arse, with everything spilling out while wearing heels. Was quite a sight and embarrassing when I think back to my younger days trying to pull myself 🙈 shows things never change!

What you wore that?

Yeah, the first reply where OP said ' Say that again in English', that poster's post was friendly and chatty as well as helpful. If OP's social skills are so poor she is not able to understand someone is being friendly and chatty and so is unpleasant to them, well that explains where she is going wrong.

You're the expert, you're in the clubs with your friends, you can see what they're wearing in clubs.

MovedlikeHarlowinMonteCarlo · 16/05/2026 18:01

OK this thread isn't ringing true at all "Hannah"

traitorstraitors · 16/05/2026 18:02

Pretty sure OP is a guy…

Needing examples of revealing clothing now. Weird way to get your kicks, but whatever.

It’s either a guy, or he/she is as rude and lacking in social skills in real life than they are on here, and that’s why men are not interested.

I mean, it’s really not hard for a woman to pull a man in a club.

Its not is it? The last post jumped the shark.

Disturbia81 · 16/05/2026 18:04

Revealing clothing, glam looking, features popping, smiley, giving men the eye, dancing.

Noshadowsinthedarkness · 16/05/2026 18:06

I highly doubt this is a real post.

I imagine requests for images coming next…

My money's on a bloke transitioning maybe?

But if I'm right and 'Hannah' has female friends, I don't know why they're not being asked instead of Mumsnet.

Secretsquirrelshh · 16/05/2026 18:08

This feels like the sort of post a pervy man might make.

SuitcaseAndSecrets · 16/05/2026 18:09

Was 70s disco night clubs in my days.. "would you like to dance" was the norm for everyone.

DalmationalAnthem · 16/05/2026 18:09

Do young people go to nightclubs now?
It's not hard to get men to want to have sex with you. Simply existing in the first place does it
Getting them to fuck off is the difficult part.

I was just going to say, I think the OP is a fella.
he wants us all describing wearing revealing clothes and pulling men.

Keroppi · 16/05/2026 18:16

What are you wearing then? Since you're in clubs with your mates.

MovedlikeHarlowinMonteCarlo · 16/05/2026 18:35

Yea it's obviously a fella but mumsnet seem to love the pervs now.

fashionqueen0123 · 16/05/2026 21:06

Yup def a man

Suspect the majority of us on this forum did our 'pulling' in clubs a bit too long ago to be relevant! In my day drinking half your body weight in £1 vodka redbulls and doing a bit of a wiggly dance whilst making eye contact with your (similarly inebriated) target was the classic technique...good luck!

Haha yeah that was going to be my advice
