A Newcastle accent-Cheryl cole, Ant & Dec etc is not the same as Tess & Vernon
As someone so pleasantly put…Tess saying ‘Cupple’ is highly unlikely to be put on, I know plenty of people who speak in a similar way and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it!

Tess is stunning and I like Vernon (aside from the cheating thing) hope the kids are ok

We only know someone that knows Vernon through his American football stuff. We’re not party to personal details. But our friend has said for years now that they were together only in the public eye. So I’ve eye rolled for years if I’ve seen any ‘happily married’ type publicity from them.

I just don’t get why this is of note enough to have to announce it. I don’t see how it could be remotely damaging to his reputation, career-wise. And I think post strictly, Tess is retired. 🤷‍♀️

Seems obvious to me - they would need to go public so they can see other people without negative press or continued speculation about their marriage which would be negative press and then they’d have to come clean - this way the control it

I meant they both have retained their regional accents when doing tv work.
Although I admit they don't sound hugely different to my ears. But then again I can barely distinguish Tess from Holly W lookswise either.
It is nice too to hear people who haven't changed their accents.
