Do you believe the Michael Jackson allegations?

For me it’s undeniable and the evidence is overwhelming, but I’m shocked by the amount of people who don’t.

I don't know much about it, having chosen not to go down that particular rabbit hole, but what I have heard (and just his general oddness) makes me think that, yes, he behaved inappropriately, at the bare minimum.

I understand people not wanting to believe it, though. His music is so deeply intertwined with memories and nostalgia, and people don't want to have that tainted by association with something so ugly. Also, he's dead and can no longer do any damage, so it's easier for people not directly affected by his actions to 'forget' or minimise.

Candy24 · 07/05/2026 03:23

I believe it is true. I am very sad that people literally handed their children over to be abused.

Sentientbean · 07/05/2026 04:04

I think this is the problem, as Dave Chapelle said, ‘ain’t no such thing as a free trip to Hawaii’… the families who ignored the signs and the suspicions and allowed their children to hang out with Jackson, with all of his text book predatory behaviour, and who benefitted from his wealth have helped to excuse him.

Effervescentfrothy · 07/05/2026 04:29

Absolutely he was guilty.

SatsumaDog · 07/05/2026 04:44

I believe the victims. Unfortunately it seems many don’t or are willing to overlook the abuse.

TerfOnATrain · 07/05/2026 05:13

Yes, I totally believe he was guilty, he was another one in plain sight. I believe a lot of people knew he was but were either silenced or paid off.

People like him, and Epstein, have so much money, power and connections that they believe they are untouchable.

BeanQuisine · 07/05/2026 05:24

I remember reading the testimony of one of the boys, and wondering how anyone could doubt it was genuine and in fact quite horrifying.

Jackson was a particlarly creepy predator, who openly cultivated a sick "little boy" persona with which to manipulate real children. He would subject them to all kinds of treats and lovebombs, and then burst into tears if the boy said "no" to his molestations.

The stuff of nightmares and as you say, quite crazy that he still has "defenders".

YankTank · 06/05/2026 22:19

Do I believe a victim of child sexual abuse who was able to accurately describe the distinctive marks on their predator’s genitalia?

Absolutely.

But it wasn't accurate. That was thrown out. He would have been found guilty if the description was accurate.

tooloololoo · 07/05/2026 05:45

No I don’t

Effervescentfrothy · 07/05/2026 05:49

tooloololoo · 07/05/2026 05:45

No I don’t

On what grounds?

Meredusoleil · 07/05/2026 06:20

I remember seeing in one documentary (can't remember which one as have seen so many), that police discovered a complicated bell system that was set up leading to MJ's bedroom to warn him if anyone was approaching. Also, staff who worked at the Neverland ranch confirmed some such security and other things they saw there.

Loutropolis · 07/05/2026 06:29

I believe the allegations and was unpleasantly surprised to see a trailer for the film at a showing of a kids film recently

hidingmynuts · 07/05/2026 06:33

Of course I do. You'd have to be completely insane to think a 40 year old man taking young, unrelated boys into his bed was just "innocent fun".

I mean, good grief. If it had been John Smith down your road doing that with young prepubescent girls literally noone would be saying "oh bless him- he's so young at heart and innocent - its all completely innocent and sweet teehee" would they?

YankTank · 07/05/2026 06:34

AutumnLover1990 · 07/05/2026 05:31

But it wasn't accurate. That was thrown out. He would have been found guilty if the description was accurate.

The police officers on the case said it was. Two of them say as much in the BBC doc. His parents removed him as a witness because they said it was affecting his mental health.

It wasn't. The markings didn't add up and they said he was circumcised when he wasn't.

Nos4r2 · 07/05/2026 06:50

I believe it. I think the parents of those boys need to answer some questions too.
Why were they allowed to stay with him? It's all about money. Those parents sold thier kids to him, disgusting.
I really liked his music and videos now its all tainted, the same with Gary Glitter and Phil Spector who was a murderer.
When the court case was going on and all those people where outside saying he was innocent. How do they know, they are crazy just because they liked his music, they thought they knew him. Some people are so strange when it comes to celebrity.

NFLsHomeGirl · 07/05/2026 06:51

If these children hadn't had a payout, more folk would believe them. He is a paedo hiding in sight, but people who love his music, will never say he's guilty

YankTank · 07/05/2026 06:52

AutumnLover1990 · 07/05/2026 06:41

It wasn't. The markings didn't add up and they said he was circumcised when he wasn't.

So the BBC doc had two former LA police officers come on and lie about the facts of the investigation? That’s a bold move of the BBC, considering the hot water they’re in for cutting and pasting Trump’s words. One would think they’d be extra mindful in the wake of that.

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 07/05/2026 06:54

They definitely found nude photos, and his own sister openly said he was an abuser. Later retracted but under immense pressure from the rest of her family,

magikarpediem · 07/05/2026 06:54

His behaviour was strange but there is a lot of inconsistencies around the allegations too

He has been found not guilty on multiple occasions

The ‘accurate descriptions’ were not accurate and were thrown out

The Leaving Neverland guys are particularly unreliable having both previously sworn under oath that nothing went on, as adults. Why lie when there are already existing allegations? There was no risk to them. Robson also later on went to audition for Michael Jackson One, after he died, and didn’t get it. Why would you audition for that if he abused you? Easy thing to do to accuse a dead man that many people are already against though.

This is obviously not proof of anything but the fact Chandlers dad killed himself shortly after MJ died is pretty odd to me.

I don’t know the truth and we will never know one way or the other for certain, but it’s not unheard of that people would lie for money. And it’s not unheard of that the media lie or exaggerate, either!

DrasticAction · 07/05/2026 06:56

Yes!!

Missohnoyoubetterdont · 07/05/2026 06:58

AutumnLover1990 · 07/05/2026 06:41

It wasn't. The markings didn't add up and they said he was circumcised when he wasn't.

They did but they were ruled as inadmissible in court so never used as evidence.

Safarisagoody · 07/05/2026 06:58

Yes absolutely, what was not thrown out was the accurate description of the skin discolouration on his penis.
anyone believing a grown ass man, wants to share a bed with random boys between 9-12 and then discard them and find another thay age, as it’s totally innocent, is either deeply naive or very foolish.

of course he was abusing children, the fact he had money and pit bull lawyers, doesn’t change it.

NFLsHomeGirl · 07/05/2026 06:58

His father beat him, he associates pain with love

pimplebum · 07/05/2026 06:58

Yes

cinema was rammed with people watching the film

even if you dont believe the allegations he admitted on film that he liked to sleep in a bed with little children
