Do you believe the Michael Jackson allegations?

For me it’s undeniable and the evidence is overwhelming, but I’m shocked by the amount of people who don’t.

we often comment on subjects that we don't really know about. If you know nothing about the accusations against Michael Jackson, do your research, read, dig deeper. Talking just to talk can be harmful.

I agree, I must say I thought he was definitely guilty but this thread and going down a rabbit hole with it is making me think maybe he’s actually not, there is an awful lot of doubt around all the allegations

I couldn’t agree more. It’s always the same on threads about Jackson, some people not bothering to research (or perhaps do, but don’t like the facts that their research has shown them) and instead giving their opinions, which largely aren’t relevant to the discussion. Or twisting the facts to suit their agendas.

Well to me this is like people who say that Covid was a hoax and people should ‘do their own research’

Just one example of many;

I expect the jury didn’t want to convict him because they were star struck like everyone and because he put on a show, wearing pyjamas to appear frail. I expect they believed he wouldn’t fare very well in prison.

At least there's some thought gone into that and the theory could easily be backed up with studies about jurors.

What about the people who reckon Jackson was saving kids from Epstein island 😂 or trying to raise awareness about abuse or 'protecting them'...from what? no one knows because they can never answer any follow up questions.

MyTrivia · 12/05/2026 21:29

It’s a reasonable point. Why wasn’t Casey Anthony convicted? I’d say because the jury didn’t want to send a woman to her death even though the evidence, circumstantial though it was pointed to her having killed her daughter.

MyTrivia · 12/05/2026 21:33

Also, I’ve watched Pat Brown’s analysis of this case and she made some really good points including that when MJ paid off Jordan Chandler he was bound to have been advised by people around him to stop singling out male children for special attention (and their families) because it looked weird and it looked like grooming AT BEST.

But he carried on because he couldn’t help himself. According to research I’ve done, there was a point in the late 80s and early 90s where he stopped having adult friends altogether and would only hang out with children.

everyoldsock · 12/05/2026 21:34

@kkloo That’s a very simplistic “thought” (I would say opinion) and indirectly undermines the due process of the trial. Furthermore, In Jackson’s case, they deliberated for over a week. But as we all know, he was acquitted because of the lack of evidence. Also, rather annoying (but predictable) about you giving your opinion about studies backing up that opinion but dressing up your opinion as fact.

ConstitutionHill · 12/05/2026 21:36

Yes.

I'm not writing a thesis. I could back up what I believe with studies though no problem.

I was, but now I’m leaning towards him being innocent. I highly doubt any of us will ever know the truth, apart from the people he was alleged to have abused.

Yes he had to have been warned by many people, and the Rabbi also said he warned him and they used to fight about him crossing lines all the time.

His family, his mother and brothers although being staunch supporters of his publicly and saying he wasn’t a child molester, were also said by family friends to have been in utter shock about his antics when they weren’t being addressed by the media .

everyoldsock · 12/05/2026 22:00

Something has gone wrong with your research @MyTrivia He was friends with Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Uri Geller, Chris Tucker and many more.

David Gest as well. I remember him being at his wedding to Liza Minelli. People trying to claim he had no adult friends!

MyTrivia · 12/05/2026 22:23

He didn’t have adult friends - he had acquaintances. He usually kept himself shut away at home.

everyoldsock · 13/05/2026 07:29

kkloo · 12/05/2026 12:20

His voice is different here, also at the superbowl when he speaks, from about 8:30 mins. 1

The second clip is unplayable but I’ve seen many of his TV interviews. Yes, in the first clip is voice is slightly deeper, so of course we can all now conclude that…

Case closed!

AutumnLover1990 · 13/05/2026 07:36

Wow. MJ has an occasional deep voice. Must be a paedophile then. 🤦‍♂️

Yes, he did. Acquaintances don’t tend to publicly support someone when that other person has been accused of sexually abusing children. They also are very unlikely to testify on that person’s behalf (as a defence witness), or spend Christmas with them.

A lot of his friends/acquaintances were a few shillings short of a pound in terms of their own understanding of relationships and how you function day to day, so they're no great shakes to be barometers of what is normal and appropriate

Many of them were adultified as children as well so have no idea about what is right and proper around their or other peoples children

Others he had through the music industry or are luvvies who just love a righteous bandwagon. They dont think things through, they're so far removed from what is a normal life these days they cant really see the wood for the trees

I don’t know, and neither do you. I’m not a psychologist and I didn’t know Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Chris Tucker, Mark Lester and all the others. I guess it confuses people on here when adults show up or support in other ways ‘oddballs’ like Jackson, as they did for him, repeatedly.

I’ve said it a million times but on threads like this facts are way more important than opinions.

Gavin Arvizo’s family wouldn’t be paid off - that’s why there was a trial.

Very, very embarrassing and stressful for a boy of his age to have had to take the stand and speak about what a man had done to him.

Another angle in this whole thing is that the jury would have had to cope with threats from delusional MJ fans for goodness knows how long if they put him in jail. He wouldn’t have survived in jail and they knew that too.

Edited

Gavin Arvizo's mother was caught out in telling lies though. Things that she said were proven to be untrue.

Scarlettjune · 13/05/2026 09:08

Its so hard to know. I so want to believe that he wasnt a paedophile. I want to believe that there are some good people in the world. I also know that he could have been a paedophile.

What Aaron Carter said is interesting. He said that Michael never touched him, but that on one occasion he was a bit inappropriate.

He said that he was sleeping in a pull out bed in Michael's room.
Aaron said he woke up and michael was standing at the foot of aaron's bed in tight white pants. Aaron said he wasnt sure if michael was sleepwalking or not. Michael appeared to possibly be asleep. Aaron said he told michael to go back to bed. Michael said ok and went back
