Spotted some CFs in the wild

Went to the garden centre earlier with my toddler, no parent and child parking spaces available...because a pair of childless twats had taken two of the parent and child bays up for their one (1) car.

I asked them (as I schlepped from the far side of the car park to the store) whether they had a child or a disability and they said no to both.

I asked them why they thought it was appropriate to take up 2 bays and their response was that it shouldn't bother me as it was no more convenient to park in this space than any other...which made me ask why they couldn't have parked elsewhere then!

Woman then says she knows what it's like to have kids (toddler was in my arms) as she has 5 kids. I replied that she should know how inconvenient it is to park further away due to someone else's selfishness, then I sauntered off.

No point to this thread really except to raise awareness to any similarly minded twats that you are CFers.

Feel free to add your CF stories below if you want to also raise awareness of what fucks you off and hopefully shame some CFers in the process.

And again, what does your comment have to do with my point?

@AgingLikeGazpachoWhen you say they took up 2 bays do you mean they were just slightly over the lines making it awkward for others to park next to them? Or did they have a big car that took up 2 spaces entirely? When I see CF park annoyingly over the lines in spaces I am very passive aggressive and often park my shit car right next to theirs in the awkward space so that it is awkward for them to get in and out. Hopefully next time they will learn to park properly and only take up one space.

They had a very average car that they'd very purposefully parked across both bays so it was bang in the centre of the two and made it impossible to park either side of it.

I've seen people do this before in normal parking bays but never in a P&C bay. And most certainly wouldn't have expected a couple of childless twats to think this was a reasonable thing to do.

They saw me pause at the P&C bays looking for a space and didn't do or say anything. Then as I was walking past with my toddler in my arms they saw us but didn't offer any kind of apology or justification or even look vaguely embarrassed, which pissed me off enough to try and figure out if there was a child or mobility aid that I hadn't clocked. But nope, turns out they are just selfish CFs

Unbelievable! I don’t know how CFs like this don’t feel embarrassed of their behaviour and I wonder how they justify it to themselves.

Parent and child spaces should be at the far end of the car park. As far away from the shop as possible. They are meant to make it easier to get children in and out of car seats because they are wider, no need to put them close to the shop. Mothers being precious and ridiculous over parent and child parking is my pet hate. They are a privilege not a right.
