Anyone else uneasy about the unanswered questions after the shooting?

Is it me but I find very odd that JD Vance was rescued first, but not Trump he ended up on his knees. Find these attempted assassinations very suspect. We never know much about the shooters. Well this one is from California presume he wants to stick that to Newsome. Political violence should never be encouraged or condoned.

Trump is a very polarising figure. It's not a surprise that he's been the intended target of several assassination attempts in this day and age.

Vance was hoiked up by his shoulders, not his collar.

I read the BBC News coverage and I found it shocking that Gary O'Donohue, who is blind, sensed the people at his table moving under it. He wasn't helped or told, although he recognised the sound of gunfire himself.

Wasn't Vance 'rescued first' because he's a fit flexible man of 40 and was quicker on his feet - Trump took a bit longer to get moving because he's 79 and a bit stiff and creaky?

No they dragged Vance out of his chair, took another 20 secs or so for someone to try & save Trump

@Catpuss66 Trump wasn't exactly rescued second

He had an agent standing directly in front of him. I agree the gap is noticeable. But I think the agent is standing in front of Trump before someone else gets Vance out of his chair. I saw it a couple of times this morning, I haven't seen it since. But that's my memory of it.

Vance was already off the stage before they tried to save Trump. Saw on clip from side of stage.

Trump is told he can't build his ballroom unless It's for security reasons. Later he attends his first ever WHCD where there is an assassination attempt on him. After said shootiing he makes a speech where he points out how this event proves he should be allowed his ballroom.

Well, we have different interpretations then

If you have a look at this clip, which isn't even 30 seconds long, they have already surrounded Trump although you can't see the guy in front of him. Trump will have security standing feet away from him all the time. Is it possible that you haven't realised some of the guys in suits are security? So the men behind Trump and in front of Trump were already there basically, just not in position.

But you can see that they are in front of Trump and behind Trump already as JD Vance is leaving sharpish. So actually there is no gap between the event, it's just JD Vance is physically capable of getting away faster. Trump actually stumbles while they're trying to lead him away.

@Catpuss66 but if you are determined to find a conspiracy, I'm sure you'll find one 🤷🏽‍♀️

None of that should be a factor. The president should be absolute number one priority to be kept safe. Loads of people online commenting on how Vance looks like the main man here.

Like the time Trump got shot in the ear and his ear magically grew back? 😂.

But he's Bigly Ears and JD Vance is Noddy.

PC Plod is NOT a lush.

Nothing touched his ear, that’s the point. No injury, no scar, no assassination attempt. Just a lot of bluster, bullshit and insultingly bad theatre, like everything else about this ridiculous presidency.

Though if he were to suffer a non-fatal shooting, an ear wound would probably be the least traumatic for him, given that his ears are vestigial and serve no practical purpose.

Ah right, so what was it, a fake bag of exploding blood?

And what about the dead boy on the roof? The one they shot? Where does he fit into this theory?

Hes not deaf though. There was a lot of people shouting ’gun’ and ‘get down’. He was under the table in seconds he said. I don’t think it sounded at all like he needed help. Or would want it. It’s not even his first assassination attempt.

Yes, it was fake exploding blood. If you're shot in the ear, you wouldn't slap it, then look at your hand, then do nothing to chk the bleeding/stop the bleeding/make sure where the blood was coming from/hold your painful injury.
Oh, then pose for a photo

So you really think someone's going to go jail for years just so Trump can have a ballroom built?!!

I think what's more likely is that a deranged loser wanted to make himself a martyr by shooting Trump.

todayImstruggling · Yesterday 23:41

One of two things happened

  1. it’s fake and set up by Trump to improve his ratings or 2)the security services around Trump are beyond incompetent. 3 assassination attempts in what 2 years. The security services need to dramatically improve.

You really think a hugely powerful president couldn't persuade someone who has nothing to lose?

Tell that to the family of the man who was killed at that rally if you think that incident was funny

TheFrendo · Today 00:08

The liberal media portray him as a modern day Hitler who needs to be stopped. Couple that with the significant proportion of Democarts who believe that violence is justified and you get...violence from the left yet again.

I normally scoff at conspiracy theories. But ear cartilage doesn't grow back.

You are aware that Reagan was shot at the same venue?

The conspiracy theories being propagated on this thread are beyond concerning.

Like this sort of stuff isn’t even hard to check - he attended the WHCD in 2011 (the infamous ‘roasting’ by Obama, again in 2015, skipped 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2025 for well publicised reasons and attended again this year.

I am less interested in learning about how to fake being shot in the ear, and more interested in knowing your thoughts on the dead shooter and the other man who was shot dead by him. I asked you how they fit into your theory.

Nothing except their freedom and liberty? You'd want to be paid millions for that, and to have the outcome of the court case known in advance, in case the punishment was even worse than you'd been led to believe. So the judges and lawyers involved would have to be corrupt on both sides of the defence and the prosecution as well. Then, when you were eventually released, you'd never be able to spend or enjoy those millions because of media scrutiny that would immediately alert everyone to what was going on. Sorry but it just doesn't stack up.
