Anyone else uneasy about the unanswered questions after the shooting?

Is it me but I find very odd that JD Vance was rescued first, but not Trump he ended up on his knees. Find these attempted assassinations very suspect. We never know much about the shooters. Well this one is from California presume he wants to stick that to Newsome. Political violence should never be encouraged or condoned.

No, you really haven't. Not in any convincing sort of detail, anyway. You've given a few woolly suggestions as to why someone might be persuaded to pretend to do it, but none of them really stack up. Not when the outcome is to end up shot dead yourself.

Like the poster above said, some people will believe anything about someone they don't like.

And no, I also don't find it too far fetched to believe that a couple of people really have tried to shoot Trump.

Really? And yet here you are, trying to explain to us why they didn't.

I'm inclined to think the shootings were real.

However, if they were fake, they would not even be on the top ten of worst things Trump has done.

It's not a question of whether it's the worst thing. I'm not trying to defend him here. It's a question of whether it's remotely feasible or likely, given how difficult it would be to pull off, how many people would have had to agree to be complicit and to put themselves in harm's way or volunteer to die to help it look authentic 😂 given the scant and questionable benefit.

Everything involving Trump is weird and unbelievable, but I think the reason they were so slow evacuating Trump is because he physically can't move very quickly, so they
have to have a kind of shelter in place policy for him.

In terms of whether the shootings were real and there's been so many of them, perhaps the real surprise is how he's managed to stay alive for so long. There must be multiple foreign powers , as well as US citizens and others who'd like him gone.

Well you could say the same for Putin and Netanyahu, but they seem to be hanging on in there...

In the end it depends how efficient and expensive your security is.

Yes, we probably don't hear about the attempts on their lives. Trump is still "hanging on".

Given all the people who have covered up Epstein and the many other scandals withon governments, thinking that they'd sacrifice someone for their own gains really isn't a reach.
Vulnerable MAGA people could easily be persuaded.

I think it was a ploy to get people's minds off the war and so he could now push even harder for his new ballroom. The funniest part to me was the three secret Service dragging RFK Jr out of the ballroom while they all left Cheryl Hinds dragging up the stairs by herself! Not one gave a thought to her. LOL

So, you didn't hear the clattering cutlery as people dropped it and got under the tables

Apart from that one chap who just sat there and said afterwards, he had back problems and can't get under the table

there's a few clips doing the rounds, but the clattering of cutlery is really loud

@Redheadedstepchild yes my mum expressed surprised that they didn't have that event at the White House. They probably don't have room for it. The ballroom enthusiasm does make a lot more sense now.

The reason trump has had so many attempts is down to incompetence plain and simple. All presidents regardless of their persuasion will have nutjobs determined to harm them. The difference is that Kash Patel is in charge( though he stood like a limpet afterwards doing absolutely nothing) . They fired all the competent ( read experienced agents who question their illegality) secret service and fbi agents . So now instead of nipping this kind of thing in the early stages the perpetrators get so far as to have more viable attempts.

As for the ballroom if they were this incompetent then that would have carried through to whatever building they had it in. Trump just wants a ballroom because he wants his name plastered on it, painted in gold so the world never forgets that he literally left his stain behind dead or alive.

It was the lack of interest shown by security as the shooter raced across the lobby carrying a rifle that also stood out to me. Looking right at him and no response at all
