I’m not talking about going on marches, but minor things, that you know about.

Mine is I won’t play Michael Jackson songs, after all the alleged behaviour, which certainly wouldn’t be accepted by today’s standards.

The second is I won’t buy McCain products, after they put out an advert for Smileys, which referred to ‘knocker’s’ in them. I thought that language had died out in the seventies.

While a few whitter on about opinions on Michael Jackson (a dead man, unable to defend himself) being guilty simply because they 'think' he is, where no shred of evidence exists, the true evil of the Epstein files actually exists and actually continues to function, right now. Plenty of real evidence.

Something real to be up in arms about. Not ' listening to music' or not.

What about those of us who are “up in arms” about both? Because we believe the survivors of sexual assault?

Well, they'll love mine if so then, where I said I sometimes hide their poisonous "get em frothing" headlines behind copies of the Mirror 😂

I do this daily!!!

Why should they get stuff for free when there's more deserving people?(A family who's 18 year old dad didn't get the mum pregnant at 13 for example)😡

Agree 💯

I know we can’t say too much on here but I don’t get why people gloss over this.

Not to mention the financial and environment cost of having that many children, none of whom seem to work (unless it’s in the magic pie shop) but just have children themselves.

Yet they get given everything.

Again though - people will still buy it, you think you are being clever and taking a stand but it’s only against the minimum wage staff at the shop.

some say gods will etc

Or some say they are justifiably unwilling to put themselves through that level of pain

Depends on your definition of a good guy. He’s one of the keffiyeh+red-hand-pin-wearing charmers who repeat lies about Israel but never criticise Hamas. He also kept strangely quiet about the IRGC’s slaughter of its own people, but is now very critical of the US’s actions in Iran. Some say good guy, I say shameless antisemitic hypocrite

He is not an anti-Semite, that’s ridiculous.

Well done to him for standing up for what’s right.

I wish he'd stand up for "what is right".
When that Green Party spokeswoman denied/minimised the events of Oct 7th, in particular what happened to the women and girls, he said nothing.
An honourable person would have spoken up, and distanced the party from this sort of thing.

Does every thread have to be derailed by this? People on both sides seem unable to have a civilised debate so instead turn everything into a slanging match.

You have your own board for this very purpose

What about those of us who are “up in arms” about both? Because we believe the survivors of sexual assault?

I believe survivors of sexual assault too, real evidence, real cases, not where parents try to get millions of dollars settled before they even call the police.
Or drugs their child to get the response they want, to then record the 'abuse' , or already had a history of making accusations that were false like the Arvisos.

As a parent myself, I ask what kind of parent does that? Using their child for money, using them for leverage. Jordan Chandler split from his parents for a reason. His guilty father unalived himself months after Jackson died.

Or where 'victims' one moment say all was well, but next raise cases because they didn't get a job with the estate.

There's just nothing concrete anywhere for me. Epstein and others like Saville there's true evil and evidence.

I don’t think derailing this thread into an Israel/Palestine discussion is in the spirit of the thread.

What time do you age out? My MIL got breast cancer at 79 and my grandmother got it at 94.

you can find the age out information for the checks on the NHS website. What aging out means is that you will no longer be sent a reminder invitation. You can still ask for regular checks at the same frequency as people who have not aged out and of course if you see or feel any symptoms no matter how slight, then you go straight to the doctor.

Tell that to the person who brought it up. I have just posted the same about derailment. But libel against Mark Ruffalo needed calling out.

Not seeing how teaching small children that roles are gendered is a problem that helps perpetuate everyday sexism is also profoundly depressing.

😕

Yep. Not thinking it’s that deep just entrenches sexism.

I am not derailing. You claimed ZP stood up for "what is right". That is not correct, imo.
So it's you who is derailing.

As if Mark Ruffalo has any idea what the UK Green Party leader has been saying! 😂 You know that what a fringe party leader overseas says doesn’t make the US headline news, right? 😂
