Do you have a "treat" everyday and if so what is it?

Currently trying to ignore the lure of a digestive biscuit to dip in my tea. Generally don't eat biscuits but we have them leftover from a cheesecake recipe. I think I do generally have some kind of "treat" everyday though. The things I perceive as a treat might be a small chocolate, a biscuit, some crisps, an alcoholic drink etc. I think I need to reframe my thinking so that something healthier becomes my treat.

What do you consider your "treats"?

When I’m working I go out around 12 each day to get myself an oat flat white from the lovely coffee place on the corner. The pleasure I get from it justifies the cost (that’s my excuse anyway!)

@SummerFrog2026 they are available in Tesco. Can get bigger packs online. The brand is called deliciously ella x

Thanks!!

just about to sort my online shop (Tesco) so will definitely have a look. I sometimes buy some with plain dark chocolate (but different brand) I'll start with the smaller packet. -safer 🤣🤣

I buy the Moser Roth ones from Aldi. You get 5 small bars in a back, one for each weekday lunch time and there’s lots of different flavours so you don’t get bored. This week I have orange flavour.

I love Moser Roth chocolate bars!

A gin and tonic each evening. Signifies the end of my working day and 30 mins decompression.

UnimatrixZeroOne · 16/04/2026 17:36

A large sugary coffee with oat milk. X3.

Yes. At the end of the day DD17 and I snuggle up on the sofa with a programme (currently Masterchef the professionals), two Labradors, a decaf coffee and a sweet treat (a piece of chocolate or biscuit.) Not every day but any evening we are both home and free by 8.30. My favourite part of the day 🙂

I have something sweet after lunch and dinner. Usually a couple of biscuits or chocolate bar. With a cup a tea.

localnotail · 16/04/2026 20:58

I dont eat chocolate, ice cream, cakes or biscuits - dont like the taste. Dont eat red meat or bacon or processed meat. Dont drink juice or soda as I basically dislike anything sweet.

I'm far from healthy though as my daily treat is wine ))

Not reguarding seasonal fruit as a treat is sad to me. A really ripe melon, british strawberries or cherries how can you not consider that a treat ?

Because fruit is a normal part of your diet, I eat lots of fruit as well as some of the bad stuff!

Cocktailglass · 18/04/2026 01:27

Have treats, life is too short for overthinking and being miserable and boring 😴
