What is it? And how do I get it please?

It’s an app called Flight Radar, live tracks aircraft

Is Wroclaw giving up on Leeds?

I think so. Looks like it’s going to Manchester.

Marymary24 · 05/04/2026 00:11

Picpac876 · 05/04/2026 00:06

Exactly! At least the others that diverted gave it a bit more whammy in their attempts. I'm wondering if it's a scared rookie or something.

Scared rookie wouldn't be a pilot

Dalman to Leeds approaching over Lincolnshire

JustAnotherWhinger · 05/04/2026 00:11

I’d rather have been on the Wroclaw holding than the ones making multiple landing attempts

I’m on, thank you for the advice, @WhatIMean.

I’m hooked already!😁

I spent a holiday, last year, in Suffolk, sitting in the garden tracking the flights in and out of the US Airbases.

And wait till you start on the ships and yachts (from my hotel balcony). 😂

Not too big a diversion, at least they haven't turned back

I’m near Leeds airport and we still have really strong gusts of wind. Wheely bins ahoy!

Jet2 is known for getting the planes down even in high winds, when other airlines do not. They are based here though, it’s their home turf and their pilots are well versed in the intricacies of landing here. KLM rarely succeeds but they’ve really tried tonight!

Objectrelations · 04/04/2026 23:59

@LargeAmericanoQuick you can just have a browse on flight radar or look at an airport that is affected during a storm. I would imagine Leeds Bradford is suffering at the wind is coming in as a cross wind from the south west which is 90 degrees to the orientation of the runway.

Thanks. I'm on it!! Looks fascinating 😲

We were saying earlier, the KLM planes are smaller. (Regular shuttle service) so maybe that as an effect in storms?

I also track friends and family ( flights of…otherwise that would be very wrong 😱), take screen shots of their flight and sometimes even send them on to them. My family think I’m nuts. ☺️😆😂

I've seen one us military C17 is now over Europe on the ADS B site.

Look at the way the flight paths cluster now. Can't go over Russia and certainly not anywhere near iran

Have a look at the flight pattern of the coastguard helicopter in Dublin. I'll not spoil the surprise but they know we are watching.... 😁
