Off! Its not information i wish to share or think anyone needs to know. I would never share my location either. But appreciate that increasingly that makes me in the minority.

Off for everyone. I hate being on show and people knowing what I'm doing. I also hate seeing that other people have been online but not read my message! So best to just leave it off

On for my contacts. It's meaningless in my case, I often leave it open for days at a time in the background.

If you put it off then you can't see when the person you switched off was last online.
