Off. MIL thinks I should reply immediately to every message. I like to reply in my own time. Trying to train her (and DM to be fair) that we are not just 'available' at any time (they are both in good health and independent). I have also turned off read receipt (blue ticks) recently and my life is less stressful because of this.

Hiding what? I'm a middle aged, perimenopausal woman with a boring job, an anxiety disorder, no partner, pretty boring life.. what am I hiding and from whom?! No one would be interested? 🤣

Sounds like I’m an interesting person (but one who should be avoided…. No more friends for me thank god!)
