It's rained every day this year!

theyoungishman · 13/02/2026 04:05

No

Elfie23 · 13/02/2026 04:09

Urgh depressing isn’t it

BananasAreForever · 13/02/2026 04:27

Nope. I'm going to B&Q tomorrow for materials to build an Ark in case the floods appear. Not looking after all those animals though!

HelplessSoul · 13/02/2026 06:14

Proof that global warming / climate change is all fucking bullshit.

We arent getting warmer. We are getting wetter. Where the fuck are those eco cunts now, who proudly proclaimed crops would fail due to heat?

Twats.

EleanorReally · 13/02/2026 06:16

no, that is a side effect of global warming.
worse weather
more extreme weather

We are getting warmer though, that's partly why it's wetter. And too much rain is also bad for crops so it's still not good news there either!

I really can’t believe there are people out there who lack such a basic level of understanding.

Global warming isn’t about everywhere getting hotter, it’s about a small change in earths temperature causing weather patterns to change …. like months and months of rain or months and months of drought.

Please tell me you haven’t told anyone in real life what you have put here because I’d be so embarrassed for you!

Read what I wrote please. It was in specific reference to the tree molestors/ecolunatics who claimed (lie) that crops would fail due to heat.

There is no heat causing crop failure in the UK.

Gettingbysomehow · 13/02/2026 06:33

In the summer it will be hot for three days and there will be a hose pipe ban because the reservoirs will be dry and empty.

WellErrr · 13/02/2026 06:33

Well I must have dreamt all the shit yields in last years drought then.

Barrellturn · 13/02/2026 06:40

I can deal with rain. But the mud is awful! Suggests that even if Noah had built an ark then he wouldn't be on it because he'd still be standing in a field with his wellies stuck in a muddy slop trying to de-suction them as it sailed away (probably Mrs Noah's plan all a long to be fair).

RedRiverShore6 · 13/02/2026 06:42

Tomorrow apparently the sun should shine in many places

I did see the sun yesterday on the beach in the South. It was wonderful for about 1 minute.
And yes, global warming. We had almost a week of frosts in late December here but none since.

WideOpenBeaches · 13/02/2026 06:48

According to my BBC weather app, it’s going to stop raining for JUST an hour around 9 this morning. Then pick up where it left off 😡

loveawineloveacrisp · 13/02/2026 06:51

Tomorrow, apparently. Temporarily.

thoseboxessmellbob · 13/02/2026 06:52

Yes. Yes it will stop raining.

i can 100 percent guarantee it. If I wanted to place a bet in a bookies saying, ‘I’d like to bet that one day it will stop raining, please’, they would not take my bet as it will definitely come true.

I hope are feel better now.

RosesAndHellebores · 13/02/2026 06:56

It is soul destroying but here in the south some sunshine is forecast tomorrow before another stretch of wet grey.

On the bright side, it's light until about 5.30pm now and my tete a tetes have just broken out. The snowdrops are at an end, but there are crocuses, cyclamen, pansies, muscari, camellias in bloom - despite the rain.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 13/02/2026 07:03

It does feel like it will just rain forever! We’ve had the odd day with slightly less rain than others but it’s fully poured down for every school run so far! Joy!

justinhawkinsnavalfluff · 13/02/2026 07:04

It can't rain all the time.

The prediction for the UK is warmer, wetter winters.

Which is what we have.

It's scientific fact.

Blarn · 13/02/2026 07:07

I saw the sun yesterday! And it rained. But not all day so that's an improvement.

DelinquentSnails · 13/02/2026 07:07

The South East has a cold, sunny day predicted on Saturday. Get out and enjoy it while you can! We will be waving it goodbye as we head to France where it’s going snow like mad, apparently.

TroysMammy · 13/02/2026 07:12

Yes on Thursday 23 July. I always say I love summer in my home city, it's my favourite day of the year.

Motheroftheb · 13/02/2026 07:14

It’s forecast sunny here tomorrow…then rain again…forever
