CaspersMum24 · 19/01/2026 22:30

Cloudy here in Selby, but we had a stunning show about 18 months ago. Your pictures are fab, thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous. Nothing here in Surrey , saw them year before last although the photos looked way more impressive than in real life!

It’s illuminated the whole sky here in south west Wales . It’s beautiful.

Netcurtainnelly · 19/01/2026 22:38

More interesting than the Beckham's.

That is true! They’re visible but you also need to use a bit of imagination!

Beautiful here in Jersey! We could see them clearly with the naked eye until the clouds crept in and covered them

These were very clear to the naked eye. Unlike others over the last year or 2.

Everythingsgroovy · 19/01/2026 22:49

Wow!

ResusciAnnie · 19/01/2026 22:53

Can you actually see them with your own eyes though?? I actually got out of bed when the last northern lights frenzy kicked off, left my front door and there was a slightly less-black swirl in the sky… went for a walk, hoping to actually see something… was raging when I watched someone take a picture on their phone of the black sky, and it came out all colourful. Bloody swizz!! My parents literally went to the top of Norway and saw barely anything yet everyone had great photos…

OnTheBoardwalk · 19/01/2026 22:55

I got an aurora notification in the north west but is cloudy here

I could see them with my own eyes here. I got my neighbours out and they were delighted.

TheLivelyRaven · 19/01/2026 22:58

I saw them tonight too. With my naked eye. Amazing! a dream come true!

They were sweeping across the sky in every direction. We could see the columns move and shift in green and pink.

SW by the coast

We could tonight very clearly, but not when they were visible here about a year ago and not when I paid £££ to go to Iceland looking for them!
