@Oioiqueen the dykes are overflowing in Lincolnshire and we've had unrelenting gloom for weeks! A bit brighter today but probably not for long.

MewithME · 07/02/2026 16:24

It's belting down still here. V gloomy but I'm in bed and just dozed again. Shame Saturday seems to have gone so fast as I've dozed a lot.

You appear to be thrashing us in the football though.

Surely more like Seven of Nine in Star Trek Voyager, not a hair out of place!

Well it's only a game! Better luck next time.

(Not a bit interested in football btw)

I'm not interested either, but for the parking issues and I can hear the cheers from my back garden!

Home Park? Driven past there loads. DH is a janner and his family all used to live in the city ๐ŸŒŠ

I can understand that! Years ago we rented a house near Lincoln City stadium and it was mayhem on match days.

@TeaAndStrumpets @TodayIsatrickyone She doesn't really like the nappies and will try and wriggle out of them but found some brilliant braces! https://amzn.eu/d/0el14Rp5
Washable pants with pads. Can use MIL nappy bin and then throw the pants in with her wet stuff.

Brilliant! Braces sound rather cute.

Hedjwitch · 07/02/2026 19:09

Yoga was so hard. A lot of sitting on my mat and child's pose while everyone else did the hard stuff.
Meh. I tried.

TodayIsatrickyone · 07/02/2026 19:33

@Stressybetty what a fab idea the braces are!

@Hedjwitch you did brilliantly to go and do what you could do. Think of not managing the tricky bits more in terms of it excellent pacing!

Sorry for the disappearing act - so much pain. The filling I got done was mercury in a back tooth right next to a gold crown and the two metals are galvanising in my mouth - actual electrical current shocks, never known pain like it and the tension of bracing for it because it comes in a flash out of nowhere rather than being a consistent predictable pain - urghhh. On top of my usual pain. It's been a fucking week.

My apologies I haven't read the other posts, just so tired ladies. Hope everyone is coping okay.

Blimey that sounds awful. Is it sorted out now? Dental stuff can be stressful (and expensive)

Stressybetty · 07/02/2026 21:59

@Realisation14 that sounds awful, could they not have used an alternative filling?

TeaAndStrumpets · 07/02/2026 22:01

@Realisation14 that is horrifying. Hope you get it sorted soon.

FuzzyPuffling · 08/02/2026 07:47

@Realisation14 that's dreadful. I hope you get relief from it very soon.

TeaAndStrumpets · 08/02/2026 08:54

Morning all!

A bit of sunshine here.

Does anyone else with me/cfs get sensitive joints during a flare? I've hurt my knuckles emptying the dishwasher, picking up 3 or 4 dinner plates at a time between my fingers. It is absolutely ridiculous!

Swanhilde · 08/02/2026 09:23

DH birthday part 2 today. We have DS, his GF and my parents coming for Sunday lunch. And DD will facetime in ๐Ÿ˜

DH will do all the cooking so I just have to sit and chat, which will be quite enough as I'm tired from yesterday ๐Ÿฅฑ

Have a restful day all ๐Ÿ’•

TeaAndStrumpets · 08/02/2026 10:05

Sounds lovely @Swanhilde . Enjoy your day!
