What would your death row final meal be?

Mine would be

Drink: large new Zealand Sauvingon Blanc with ice

Starter: king prawns in garlic oil with garlic bread.

Main: fillet steak,peppercorn sauce,baked potato with butter and a side of mac n cheese.

Dessert.Cheesecake with cream.

Something slow cooked and eaten at a leisurely pace.

I wouldn't eat for a few days beforehand in the hope it would stop me from shitting myself as I died.

Dirty martini
Aranchini or roti channai
Decent steak, Stilton sauce and chips fried in beef dripping
Creme brulee with passion fruit
Huge selection of cheese. Large bottle of merlit all for me

A glass of champagne, salt and pepper squid to start, short rib with truffle mash for the main and a warm chocolate fondant for dessert

Bronze die pasta. Just heavenly.

I'd actually share my bag of E with my captors they would then feel love and empathy with me.

Main, Steak Diane not the proper one the one a long closed down restaurant used to make with homemade double cooked chips and tartare sauce.

So a magnum of white wine, with fish and chips, followed by as much cheese and crackers as I can keep down.

I once worked with someone who said their last meal on death row would be a jacket potato. I think about this often.

Sure I read that the most common last meals are fast food KFC etc. Which is pretty sad when you think about it.

Prawn cocktail, a fillet steak, cooked blue with chunky chips and garden peas plus a side salad. Cheese and biscuits, just brie and stilton and a bottle of a very tasty, full bodied red.

I read that it’s usually fried chicken, mac and cheese, cornbread, collard greens. Most death row inmates are black and poor 😞
