I don’t wear slippers, in my head they are ‘for granny’s’ who shuffle about - the reality is I had made my mum a granny younger than I am now 😂 I’m just an anti-slipper person!

Shearling birks! I have been wedded to my “house shoes” since the pandemic, when I got tired of being in bare or sock feet for days at a time!

Sometimes I even wear them with socks, like a German meteorologist. And I regret NOTHING.

I’ve just shuffled outside in not my crocs 🤬😎🫣 to poo walk the dog 💩😘.

There’s nothing on my feet at the moment. I usually have bare feet when I’m just chilling on the sofa in the evenings.

During the day when I work from home I wear Ugg Tasmans or Adidas slides. I never wear either of them with socks though. I loathe wearing socks and can’t relax in them.

I have a pair of very hippy, hand knitted slipper socks that I love to wear. Curled up by the fire with dog and husband. Unless I’m getting a foot rub which happens often, then the slippers are off for the duration

Nothing. I can’t stand socks unless I’m wearing boots, so I’m barefoot at home pretty much all the time. Although the amount of times I bang my toes, I probably should start wearing something!

Usually have a blanket over my legs though when I’m sat with my feet up.

Oh wait, the dog heard me talking and thought I was inviting him over, and he's just flumped down on the end of the bed, shuffling the cats out of the way, so now, I can no longer see my feet!!

I have those BOBS slippers in grey fur, they’re lovely but a little stompy.
my guilty secret is my recovery sandals, with 2 inch squidgy platforms which I wear with socks every minute I can - they do wonders for my aching knee joints, but heavens they’re fugly.

My grandma always has bare feet though. She once took her shoes off at a restaurant and went up to the bar to pay like that.

An ancient pair of purple uggs that I wear as slippers. I wouldn't actually leave the house in them though 🤣 but we have stone floors downstairs so needs must!

I wear sheepskin boots as slippers. Our home has COLD floors and because we have dogs, they’re rarely as clean as I would like so socks pick up debris and bare feet (which I have in summer) get grubby.

outside I have Birkenstock shoes, (fugly but I LOVE them), wellies, DMs, and Aldi crocs for just nipping out to the veg patch. Haven’t worn heels for over a decade. I don’t care though, I like my feet and I embrace the ugly footwear because comfort and foot health is more important!

Yes I'm with you on the need from stone flooring! I also suffer badly from reynauds and footcramp after an episode (daily as soon as the weather turns). I have a massive pair of dusky pink fluffy slippers - together with my fluffy bedsocks (which specifically have to be chenille) which I can also squidge gel heat pads in - I'm in heaven. I dream about getting into the full ensemble every day. The more synthetic the better as I can't really afford sheepskin. It's only since middle age and menapause I've allowed myself the luxury of such a hideous fashion crime.
