Another Moshulu fan but I favour these leather mules. Great for popping in and out of the house and really hard wearing.

Nothing, just bare feet. I cannot stand the feeling of socks when I’m not wearing shoes, I just get increasingly agitated with the feeling until I can take them off! I do have slippers but same there too really. Rather be barefoot all the time which was much more acceptable during my years in NZ than it is now in rural wintery England 😂 as it is, I settle for flip flops as much of the year as I possibly can… I wore them yesterday but have had to admit defeat and put them away now!

Currently a very gnarly pair of DH’s socks, but that’s because I’m feebly recovering from food poisoning and was too lazy to go back upstairs and find a pair of my own. Normally I wear leather riding boots with dresses and skirts, silver ballet flats or purple trail running shoes. I used to love heels and pretty shoes, but I can’t walk in the fuckers any more.

No shoes/slippers as I sploshed from the back door to my garden office in my flip flops and left them at the door. I’m not here for long otherwise I would have brought my Uggs in.

Sheepskin slippers here, I love them. Plus thermal socks!

I have Raynards, and my feet get so cold, I can’t imagine going barefoot. Even in summer I wear flip-flops indoors or the floor chills my feet. About the only time you’ll ever catch barefoot outside of the bath, shower or swimming pool is on holiday abroad, and then only when it’s well over 30 degrees and the ground is hot to the touch.

Definitely on the side of slippers. So cosy and not aging at all…

My WTF was when I was thinking what I wanted for Christmas this year, decided it’s a big fluffy dressing gown, slippers and a set of heated curlers for my rapidly thinning hair and thought I’ve officially turned into my dearly departed Nan!

Work trousers still on but lovely cosy slippers! 😍

You are lucky you never get cold feet then.
My feet would be too cold without slippers, esoecially when I am standing on hard floors.

Some navy (with stars) M&S slippers. The Dpuppy has eaten the corner of one of them though. Used to love M&S slippers they had a good sole on them - putting out bins and washing, they were ideal - but last years were terrible, the innards fell apart by Easter, so they got binned, and I got this very pair out of the dark depths of a cupboard! Hate cold feet, so always have mine on except for height of summer.

I just don't generally find my feet get cold much. I can't tell you why, because I've never known it any other way. In general I think I feel the cold less than the average person, perhaps? I don't know. My house doesn't have carpets either!

I've always HATED socks and I don't really like 'slippers' either - if I have something on my feet when I'm indoors. which is usually just when I'm working from home, it's always something that's actually very comfortable shoe, like Uggs or slides, rather than slippers. The only time I remember owning slippers was when I lived in halls of residence, where I just put them on to go to the loo (toilets were shared ones, so were off down a corridor somewhere).

Mine are ambiguous. Left is in a cheap trainer with a bar strap. That's the closest footwear I could find to match the right, which is a surgical boot. Roll on normal shoes again!

My son’s slider because I trod on the bathroom floor. And toilet waste pipe leaking. A lot. Whole toilet needs to be removed 😢

Celtic sheepskin clogs, which I swapped with my late mum because hers were too large and mine were a little small. I wish they could be resoled; the tread has gone so they slip outside.

I looked at your picture and thought how comfy they look. A decade ago I had never owned slippers. Now they are a staple for Autumn and Winter.

Like yours but a different pattern. I usually have sheepskin for winter but mine are my late mother's. She only wore them for a few weeks.

These were one of my best birthday presents this year if I am honest.

What's with the fear of looking old because you wear slippers? I have worn them since I was a child. I am utterly miserable when my feet are cold

I always go barefoot at home - hate the feel of slippers on my feet. I'm in my 50s.

Don't know if they show my age, but they definitely show I need a pedicure. I'm another who almost never gets cold feet. These are my standard in the house footwear.
