Adverts that you hate!

I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole watching The Dog House on YouTube which I love but nearly every advert is for the Google Pixel 10 which compares iPhones to Ice Cream and it sings Sugar Town by Nancy Sinatra which is lodged in my head now and doing my head in. I’d never get a Google phone now, argh!

Anyone else?

Also every single funeral plan advert. "Dad always talked about how he hated extravagant funerals."

Did he? Did he really? Get away, you ridiculous woman with your over-emotional facial expressions, trembling voice and stupid kitchen.

Marc Jacobs perfume ads. At least they've stopped doing that Daisy Daisy Daisy Daisy Daisy Fucking Daisy one. But the new one is also crowded with fey giggling grown-up little girls who seem to have been told to act like it was super-sexy to be a fey giggling grown-up little girl

And the one for the Perfume Shop where the woman impersonates her teenage daughter and then buys Daisy! I think it’s the Perfume Shop I could be wrong

That upset stomach advert with the bright pink bottle and everyone grabbing their arse while screaching 'DIARRHOEA' 😱💩.

Oh and the ads with those stupid influencer-type women smugging on about washing powder in their pastel-and-white houses/clothing. And then scolding us about the need to keep Persil (or whichever it is) out of children's reach because the manufacturers have decided FOR NO REASON to squish it into little multi-coloured lozenges that look exactly like sweeties.

I am being bombarded by about 8 different gambling ads atm. I never gamble…..
The k beauty, glass skin era boots advert is tiresome.
My current absolute hate is for the domino hoo hoo one.
And the bloke mansplaining about menopausal weight loss.

There are a series of radio adverts for United Utilities, with a boy and his mum. He does this revolting giggle at the end of each one. It makes me angry!

The BFG one especially when the girl says 'it's Christmas, we'll make room' oh fuck off, love, Kevin the carrot's wedding, Dominos - I will never ever buy a takeaway pizza from them thanks to their awful ad, Dawn French's M&S ad...I really need to upgrade my streaming services to be ad free!

I'm pissed off with Aldi ruining Kevin by having the awful Scarlet Moffat on some of the ads.

All Xmas ads are shite this year.

All of the above, plus I detest the toothpaste ads that have actors grin in the mirror and run their tongues over their teeth. I find that repulsive. And I don’t believe anyone does it!

The Geely advert with the girl with big glasses. Sooooo annoying

That feckin bleeding awful, irritating train advert with the muppet and the fat boy slim song. Fuck of to the back of beyond. Realistically it would be "yeah, we're overpriced, overcrowded, unreliable, but hey, what you gonna do? Walk?Suckers!"

No it’s actually just one word that counts as a ‘line’ and gets you more money- I was an extra on skins back in the day and all the club/party shots where we just danced and looked wasted in the background we got paid £40 a day. I had a line once! It was ‘move’, I think. The director told me to go and have a chat with production to make sure I got my £70 that day 😀😀

The chewing gum ones with the mouth in the middle of the forehead. Makes me feel icky

I also hate the perfume ad where Natalie Portman is “singing”

Bloody love the Kiera and Joe advert though, it’s super cute.

I’ve literally just switched channels to avoid what’s possibly the worst advert of all times: it’s fir I think bold washing liquid and it’s a voice over whispering which makes me absolutely LIVID for some reason. I’ll never ever buy that brand now (tresemme had an ad with whispering a couple of years ago and I’ve stuck to my guns/cut my nose off to spite my face and haven’t bought anything of theirs since)
