In one of the bins.

On the ground underneath a small tree, just on the soil. In the rain, we didn't get home until hours later and the box disintegrated when we picked it up!

They constantly leave mine in the bin, at the back door. In full view on my doorstep.

Two days in a row they’ve left my deliveries without knocking.

Yorkshiregold · 20/11/2025 22:08

In a bush

Welshgirl10 · 20/11/2025 22:08

In the cardboard recycling bag, which was then collected the next day!

Gawdimold · 20/11/2025 22:09

In the living room- threw it through an open window

FrangipaniBlue · 20/11/2025 22:11

just leaned up against my front door.

The branding on the box made it pretty obvious what was in it…… and it was worth £1000!!

SunandRain101 · 20/11/2025 22:11

In food caddy. Doesn't matter full or not. You can imagine the nightmare sometimes.
It just depends on local delivery driver.
There are 3 who are brilliant and i appreciate them.

honeyfox · 20/11/2025 22:12

I've a sticker on our letterbox saying there's a parcel box just on the wall to the side (not hard to miss), most of them see it but I still had a parcel left behind a bush today.

drspouse · 20/11/2025 22:13

Chocolate in a wheelie bin.
had to check it was ok... had to check all the chocolates

IvedoneitagainhaventI · 20/11/2025 22:19

Leaving parcels in the cardboard recycling bin is quite usual where I live. And infinitely preferable to leaving them on the front doorstep in full view of any passing person.

At my last address I had a padlocked garden box in the front garden and the postie forced the doors open to leave the parcel inside. I don't know how he did it. I was furious and complained and somebody actually came out from the local sorting office to have a look at it.

FullOfMomsense · 20/11/2025 22:21

One glass shower screen against a gate that opened outwards, I was trapped and as it was a genuine emergency I had to climb up the gate, push it and smash it, to leave my home.

Another in the cab of the digger we had in our front garden!

ForPearlViper · 20/11/2025 22:27

Left a bread knife, which therefore should have been signed for, on the front step in a knife shaped package in full view of the road. There were many places they could have concealed it and the tracking said it would be delivered the following day when I would have been in.

AutumnClouds · 20/11/2025 22:28

Outside a youth centre in the next village along

AutumnClouds · 20/11/2025 22:29

It was a Gousto box so even weirder

Pieceofpurplesky · 20/11/2025 22:33

In my recycling bin?

Politicians247UnderwearExtinguishingService · 20/11/2025 22:35

Tucked right in far behind next door's bin (not ours) - not the house we're attached to but the detached one on the other side with a massive hedge between us.

We got a refund from Amazon and then, several days later, when our neighbours moved their bin out on bin day, they spotted our parcel hidden behind it and brought it around.

Wasywasydoodah · 20/11/2025 22:40

In an unused porch of the church next door, pushed through the bars in the locked metal gate/door.

PallyMally · 20/11/2025 22:40

Hidden in a bush, after posting a note through to say they couldn't deliver so I should collect from the depot 30 mins drive away. Not impressed to drive there, find they said they had delivered parcel after all but didn't know where. Stumbled across it a few days later. Bizarre

DramaAlpaca · 20/11/2025 22:42

In a bush. We'd no idea it was there, no note left. It was a gift from MIL we'd assumed had got lost in the post. DH found it months later when he was up a ladder and spotted a parcel in the middle of the bush. We never did tell MIL the story, just thanked her for the gift at the time.

PodMom · 20/11/2025 22:45

On the pavement in the middle of Manchester City centre. They even took a photo. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Dd does live in a flat on that road but they made no attempt to take it into the building, or even leave it near the building door which is set back off the road. Her building has a 24hr concierge so no excuse.

On my floor! I opened the door to leave the house, turned back for a few seconds to get something and the delivery man lobbed the small package through the open gap and legged it. Lucky he didn't hit me with it!

CherryRipe1 · 21/11/2025 06:13

In the recycling bin, in the rubbish bin, behind the rubbish bin, in a shrub planter, between two planters (parcel was found weeks later sodden and filthy)

Genehuntsfanclub · 21/11/2025 06:33

Balanced on the rear wiper blade of my car which was backed up the drive. Never quite understand that one when we were have a safe space.

Sweetiedarling7 · 21/11/2025 06:36

They threw it over my 8ft rear fence and it landed up a tree. I had no idea where it was until the following autumn (arrived early summer) when the leaves fell.

GiantTeddyIsTired · 21/11/2025 06:38

The classic in my recycling bin (which had been put out at the end of my drive ready) on recycling day

an expensive piece of electrical equipment was just shoved under a bush behind my gate - and they didn't even say it had been delivered so I didn't look for it for 2 days (and yes, it had been raining, so perhaps a blessing it was under a bush)

Literally thrown into my front garden in pouring rain.

'Under your tractor' (I don't have a tractor)

And obviously to various neighbours (despite me being the only one with my postcode, and giving clear instructions about what my house looks like in the first two lines of the address, me having a nice, safe porch to put the parcels in, and these neighbours being 100s of yards away). I did enjoy the customer service once asking if I was sure that the picture wasn't of my house though. I liked the confidence.
