Going on holiday today, on the way to the airport on a long bus journey. I'm overweight , no beating about the bush I'm trying hard to lose it and have lost some but have a long way to go. So I'm Sitting on the bus excited for hols in a great mood, an elderly man gets on with a cane looks at me and makes a very loud audible oink. I just stared at him didn't say anything I was so taken aback tbh, he proceeds to sit behind me making oinking noises. I'm really upset he got off the bus at the next stop but it's really tainted the start of my holidays..why do people have to be so unkind,.fat people know we are fat we don't need idiots like that making stupid noises and comments. Anyway sorry for the rant don't know why I'm letting it get to me so much! Thanks for reading if you have made it this far.x

What a horrible man it shows his immaturity and lack of manners. Sorry that happened to you and I hope it hasn't spoilt your holiday for you. I had something quite similar about two years ago whilst out with my boyfriend. We had been for a couple of drinks. My boyfriend is severely sighted and uses a white cane. On the walk home two drunk men across the road started shouting and laughing all like "oh look at that fatty over there no wonder she can only pull a blind bloke" granted I'm overweight but I'd lost a lot of weight already and am now a size 18(down from a 24/26). Safe to say my fella wasn't best pleased and told them to shut the fuck up and that they were only jealous cos clearly they hadn't got girlfriends to go home to

I might have asked him if he was feeling quite well as it sounded like he was having a medical crisis. Either that or I would have asked him to use his words and turned to him, looked him right in the eye , daring him to. Then again I am older, feisty and do not suffer fools gladly. Sorry, you met such an absolute AH.

His wife probably hates him for being useless, in and out of bed.

His dad probably was disappointed that his son is so weak that he picks on women.

Don't let him ruin your holiday babe, he's not worth it. No man whos winning in life behaves like that. Eugh. I bet you're 10% hotter than anything he could pull anyway 😭!! xx

Omg, these stories, I’m horrified. Some men really don’t have far to go before they hit the bottom, do they? What a disappointment they must be to those around them.

What a horrible vulgar old pig. Understandably upsetting but he is not worth a second thought.

Is there any chance at all it was a tick? I used to work with a man that had an uncontrollable tick that was snorting like a pig. Very disconcerting when I first met him. I was disgusted, because I thought he was doing it in purpose!
I don’t mean to diminish what happened to you at ALL. Obviously if the man was clearly aiming it at you and/ or laughing etc then you’ll know. Just wanted to add this perspective. Sorry this happened to you. Don’t let it spoil your lovely holiday.

He is a vile creature. I’m stopping short of saying you should have accidentally tripped him up as he walked past you to leave.
remember that negativity leaves a much more impressionable mark in your brain than positivity. Try to remember the positive and make it outweigh the negative as much as you can. If it helps - imagine him sliding down the aisle of the bus on his face 🫢
