If you could have one lot of free cosmetic surgery ..

.. what would it be?

Mine would be liposuction on my legs, I’m fairly sure I have lipedema and I hate them. I’ve lost over 5st and still hate my legs, especially my thighs.

I’m not interested in any other work, can’t imagine having anything done with my face etc but would have something done with my legs in a heart beat.

OP posts:

Lower face lift

soupyspoon · 09/11/2025 00:34

Ive lost 140lbs and would go for the full body lift. I wont have it done in real life unless for some reason I came into money and it was free. It would soften the blow of the recovery which I have read up about a lot.

Ive since developed lipedema which the doctor doesnt appear bothered/concerned with. I actually learnt about it on here, my ankles are bigger than the rest of my legs at times. Awful. No pretty sandals for me.

I wouldn't have anything done. Why put your body through unnecessary trauma for no reason. I didn't even have a reconstruction after my mastectomy because I could see the way that my skin had knitted itself together and healed into a scar; the thought of ripping open my flesh again for no good reason seems very sad to me and it feels kind of disrespectful to my body. We should learn to love ourselves more. I know it's hard and I don't blame women who do it because we are under so much pressure but it's still very sad.

@TheGrimSmile For me, it’s genuinely not a case of not loving my body nor being under pressure, it’s that the stretched skin pisses me off when I’m fastening my jeans, it droops over tights, and I feel annoyed when it shows under certain dresses/tops that I want to wear. I have some great tummy smoothing underwear that helps.

I keep pretty fit, my weight is fine and I don’t need liposuction. I just want the saggy skin to magically go away. 🤣

BoxesBoxesEverywhere · 09/11/2025 00:44

Genuinely? I wouldn't. I'm happy with my lot, it's me and if you don't like it, lump it as the saying goes 😁
I don't do anything cosmetic surgery, even make up, nails, hair dye. Each to their own though

SnowFrogJelly · 09/11/2025 00:48

No thanks

RememberBeKindWithKaren · 09/11/2025 00:51

Something that lifts the skin around my jowls up and out.

Disturbia81 · 09/11/2025 01:02

Facelift, don’t want jowels

Obeseandashamed · 09/11/2025 01:06

A 360 lift! I’m too saggy all over.

midsummabreak · 09/11/2025 01:09

None , Im living with my imperfections AOK. But if I can use the freebie for travel I’d send it in a flash.

midsummabreak · 09/11/2025 01:09
  • spend
Ihitthetarget · 09/11/2025 01:17

If it was magic with no pain or risks, then

  • mole removal
  • neck lift
  • Eyelid lift
  • boob enhancement
- Have the money, but can't see me doing above as scared something will go wrong
PeonyPatch · 09/11/2025 01:18

Liposuction on my tummy and double chin, or a tummy tuck.

BruFord · 09/11/2025 01:20

@Ihitthetarget Just to reassure you, I’ve had three moles removed over the years due to potential melanoma risk. V. minor procedures and healed completely-one was on my face and there’s no scar at all.

LoserWinner · 09/11/2025 01:22

BuffaloCauliflower · 08/11/2025 21:58

Eyelid lift/upper blepharoplasty

This.

patooties · 09/11/2025 01:25

My tits. I can probably afford it - but they are just tits, saggy from 5 years of breast feeding 3 kids so lower than I would want.
I’d take them to a pert B cup.

Hephzibah64 · 09/11/2025 01:54

When I was younger I would have wanted breast enhancements. Now I think it’s crazy to implant plastic into your body to confirm to an ideal of the female form.
I would like to have surgery on my varicose veins which are ugly and make me feel self conscious when I am at a beach / pool.

notatinydancer · 09/11/2025 04:35

A facelift. It won’t ever happen, too scared.

DragonsArise · 09/11/2025 05:13

Varicose vein removal. I hate how they look and they hurt a lot - they're not bad enough for NHS because they don't stop me walking, and I can't justify the cost at all as the sole worker in my family. I'm on my feet for work and fuck me does it hurt by the end of the day.

unsync · 08/11/2025 22:24

If OP does have lipedema, it is a recognised medical condition that no amount of therapy will cure. Compression and/or surgery is currently the only treatment available.

If it is a medical condition then that is a different thing altogethe and OP presenting it as " cosmetic" surgery is very misleading.

Gottocopebymyself · 09/11/2025 06:23

JudgeBread · 09/11/2025 00:05

Oh lighten up. It's just a silly hypothetical. You can have perfectly fine self esteem and still wonder what it'd be like to have really nice tits. Get over yourself.

People with good self esteem don't look at themselves in the mirror and want to change bits of themselves with surgery.

That is seeing themselves as inadequate.

People with good self esteem accept themselves as good enough as they are without the need for surgery.

TattooStan · 09/11/2025 06:54

I'd like my teeth doing - all replacing with Turkey teeth, but not in brilliant white!

Or I'd like a very subtle boob job. I've always been a full 34D, but this year I've lost body fat due to strength training, and am now a slightly deflated 34C. I'd just like my boobs to be restored to what they were 12 months ago!

And to posters above commenting on self esteem, I'd like to add that I don't actually give a shit about either of these things, and would never have a general anaesthetic for vanity reasons.

I had a breast reduction two years ago and it has completely changed my life. I have no regrets.

Is it true you can only have a 2 cup size reduction? Mine are 36GG so 36EE would still be too big for my liking
I used to be 36B. Goodness knows what happened 😳

Idstillratherbepaddleboarding · 09/11/2025 07:33

Smile lines but perhaps that doesn’t count as I’m guessing is only need filler.

MissyB1 · 08/11/2025 22:11

Varicose veins, they are literally a pain! But they won’t do them on the NHS in our area anymore, so would need to be private.

I have just paid to get mine done. I saved for a few years and then finally did something about it.
