If you could have one lot of free cosmetic surgery ..

.. what would it be?

Mine would be liposuction on my legs, I’m fairly sure I have lipedema and I hate them. I’ve lost over 5st and still hate my legs, especially my thighs.

I’m not interested in any other work, can’t imagine having anything done with my face etc but would have something done with my legs in a heart beat.

OP posts:

Also hated my nose since I broke it as a teenager but it was never acknowledged I broke it - they shoved a tampax up ieach nostril and told me to get on with with it. Having spent most of my 20s wanting it to be fixed and hating it, I now can’t imagine my face without it and wouldn’t have
it done for the world now.

hby9628 · 08/11/2025 22:47

New teeth. I hate my teeth.

FastTurtle · 08/11/2025 22:52

Teeth, if teeth are allowed.

Boxingshibes · 08/11/2025 22:58

Teeth, all pulled and good implants/dentures- if I won the lottery it's the 1st thing I'd have done.
Dont know if it's cosmetic but ankle replacement. Mine is fucked but apparently too young for a replacement. It so bad I can only walk for about 20 mins without a rest.
Proper cosmetic, a neck lift? I have lines across my neck

Rhodesbride · 08/11/2025 23:02

Breast implant removal!

CatrinVennastin · 08/11/2025 23:05

RaraRachael · 08/11/2025 22:12

Boob reduction.
Hate these monstrosities.

I had a breast reduction two years ago and it has completely changed my life. I have no regrets.

Genevieva · 08/11/2025 23:07

I tend to think nature knows best, so leave well alone. I also think most people aren’t very observant of others. Maybe that’s because I’m not! But as long as you are suitably turned out you don’t need any artificial help.

If OP does have lipedema, it is a recognised medical condition that no amount of therapy will cure. Compression and/or surgery is currently the only treatment available.

I’ve heard that Mounjaro has helped.

TheRedBear · 08/11/2025 23:15

If it was absolutely guaranteed to work, wouldn't need redoing and had no side effects I would have laser eye surgery.
But it isn't, so I won't

Spudlover · 08/11/2025 23:17

Deep plane facelift, in fact I’m saving up for one. I’ve always looked younger than my age, now all of a sudden I don’t, and I don’t like it.

Mathsdebator · 08/11/2025 23:20

My overhang belly. It's like and I hate it.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 08/11/2025 23:21

Breast reduction and lift (one surgery)

Still want big boobs but just not as they are now!

longtompot · 09/11/2025 00:03

My tummy or my neck...probably my tummy area. It makes me feel so uncomfortable

JudgeBread · 09/11/2025 00:05

Gottocopebymyself · 08/11/2025 22:00

For heaven's sake.
Yet another thread trying to normalise cosmetic surgery.
Why not spend the money on therapy to improve your self esteem instead?

Edited

Oh lighten up. It's just a silly hypothetical. You can have perfectly fine self esteem and still wonder what it'd be like to have really nice tits. Get over yourself.

JudgeBread · 09/11/2025 00:06

I've lost a lot of weight and while I'm surprised on the whole how little loose skin I have, my bingo wings are vaguely hilarious. Pretty sure if I flapped hard enough I'd fly, so while I'm quite happy and comfortable in my body as it is, I wouldn't mind losing the armpit propellers.

Dibminoupqh · 09/11/2025 00:08

I'd get a tummy tuck, I'm 5'1 and 8.6st but have a lot of excess stretchy empty skin around my stomach. A few years ago I was really unwell & went down to 6st, the loose skin was even worse. When I bent down it parted in half like the bible sea story 🙈

Trialwalk · 09/11/2025 00:10

Breast reduction, I’d love one. I’ve had a lot of work done on my face for complicated reasons and I’m still not happy with it but breast reduction my back would love me for!

OnToast81 · 09/11/2025 00:13

Friendlyfart · 08/11/2025 22:17

Plus a mole removal in face but years ago a GP told me the scarring would look worse than the mole.

I’ve just had a mole removed from my face and I haven’t been left with a scar.

Fizbosshoes · 09/11/2025 00:15

I dont know if I could only choose one thing!
...although the thing id most want to change is my height (im less than 5ft) but the surgery for that looks horrific! (And im not sure what the success rate is!)

Useitupwearitout · 09/11/2025 00:16

Breast reduction and lift, mine are huge, heavy ( even been commented on by HCP’s as it makes them hard to check for lumps) and pendulous, not to same extent, so are uneven.

KnickerlessParsons · 09/11/2025 00:17

Breast reduction. Clothes look so much better on small breasted women.

BruFord · 09/11/2025 00:20

Tummy tuck. I produced big babies (both were close to 10lbs) and my abdominal skin is permanently stretched. Exercise improves it, but I’ve discussed it with a couple of doctors who’ve both said that only surgery would truly fix it.

But I’m 51 and haven’t done it yet so I don’t think I’m going to!

TheGrimSmile · 09/11/2025 00:26

I wouldn't have anything done. Why put your body through unnecessary trauma for no reason. I didn't even have a reconstruction after my mastectomy because I could see the way that my skin had knitted itself together and healed into a scar; the thought of ripping open my flesh again for no good reason seems very sad to me and it feels kind of disrespectful to my body. We should learn to love ourselves more. I know it's hard and I don't blame women who do it because we are under so much pressure but it's still very sad.

MO0N · 09/11/2025 00:28

I'd have the operation which restores your body to the point at which you looked your best. And I'd want it to be consequence free as well as expense free.

FindingMeno · 09/11/2025 00:28

I would love a really defined jawline
