Mel from Mel and Sue, and Alexander Armstrong. They once hosted a Saturday night show together and had lovely chemistry together. I think if anyone can save strictly those two are clever enough to do it.

I think Emma Willis would be good as Tess’s replacement.
I love Alison Hammond but don’t think she’s sharp enough for Claudia’s replacement. Mel from Mel and Sue would be a good shout.

That footage of Mel chasing Sue round the Bake Off rent over the chocolate mousse is still one of my favourite telly moments.

I don’t watch it, but it seems there are other spin offs constantly being advertised daily. As for that twat Raymond Clark who now calls himself Ryland .

That's how I feel and I watch it every year. It's time to put it to bed or at least rest it for a couple of years.

I can not bare Helen Skelton on anything. Awful presenter. Thinks everyone is either 5 or suffering struggling in care home with nothing in between. (Yes I also am referring to the space betwen her ears here).

It needs to take a break like the X factor has done. It’s had its time as a show and has really been on for too long.

Omg as if Alison Hammond could “fill Claudia’s shoes with ease”. Claudia is super bright and has a degree from Cambridge. Alison struggles to read an autocue without mispronouncing several words and thinks that’s funny.

I know I said Mel and Sue earliwr and still think it’d be brilliant but what about Graham Norton too?

The show is bigger than Tess and Claudia.

I think you could replace Tess with an autocue-reading animatronic and no-one would really notice. Though arguably a fairly ‘background’ presenter in that role places more focus on the judges and dancers so I think it works. I’ve never seen Tess do anything else so I will charitably believe she is capable of more.

Claudia on the other hand is obviously exceptionally talented and is on her way to national treasure status if she isn’t already. She is warm, self-effacing and quick-witted and it won’t be the same without her.

I agree. Pleeeeease no more of her. She's been like a rash over everything the last few years .
