1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

Well said Elon.
A lot of what he said was right and people are just in the right frame of mind at the moment to support his views and Tommy's.

You support the views of a couple of known misogynists? Why?

My comment wasn't insulting. You have now responded with:
You do understand that there are circumstances where an early GE could be legitimately called?
Yes I do - but you being unhappy with the result and a protest in London isn't one of those circumstances. Hence my question to you.

Please explain under what part of the British constitution you are suggesting that there should be another election. Or do you not respect the rules of law & Government in the UK?

Your question re my respect for UK law is otherwise a non sequitur and you know it.

Anyone on the left, centre and normal right should boycot Musk and tesla

Are you boycotting Chinese products and services?

If not, why not?

Abhannmor · 14/09/2025 08:31

Oligarchs in general can do one. Being in the EU was a loss of UK sovereignty according to the far right. But they're bought and sold by the 1% who pay no tax and are loyal to no country.

No. But I would if there was a giant video screen of Xi Jumping encouraging his UK followers to start a race war.

No. But I would if there was a giant video screen of Xi Jumping encouraging his UK followers to start a race war.

But it’s OK if Xi and Putin conduct hybrid warfare, via IP theft, election interference, media control, national debt servitude, migration weaponisation etc etc.

Got it.

I share Musk’s desire for a dissolution of parliament and fresh GE, so that we can rid ourselves of the abomination that is this Labour Government.
That is neither in your nor in Musk's purview or power to force.
I am fully aware of the Parliamentary procedures that you have linked that could cause a GE - but Musk inciting violence is not one of them.

No, those forms of interference are also unwanted, even moreso imo.
Musk and the Tommy Robinson followers are dancing to their tune.

You made me smile.

If you are aware of the criteria for an early GE, why ask?

I am struggling to take you seriously, tbh.

I'm delighted that I made you smile. All part of Britishness - spreading a bit of cheer you know, just like all the good natured souls on yesterday's march.
Just so you know - I'm struggling to take you seriously too - so you'll be pleased to hear we've found some common ground.

I'll just remind you again that the Parliamentary procedure to force a general election is neither in your nor in Musk's purview or power to force. So I'm not sure why you seem to be defending Musk demanding another election and forcing it through via violence.

I refer you to your post I’m responding to. They’re dancing to the tune of media manipulation and immigration weaponisation.
it’s painfully obvious.

DuncinToffee · 14/09/2025 08:57

The same people shouting about sovereignity, unelected bureaucrats and take back contol are now welcoming foreign interference

And yet you continue to engage me….

Labour has proven itself quite capable of creating their own crises - Rayner, Mandy anyone?

Meanwhile, if you think that demonstrations like yesterday’s, or Trump, or Musk’s comments on the state of the UK go unnoticed in Westminster, you are naive.

This wretched government is one scandal away from the edifice coming down. It’s merely a function of time - and if you believe that Starmer will last a full term, well, bon chance.

My enemy’s enemy is my ally.

noblegiraffe · 14/09/2025 09:03

My enemy’s enemy is my ally.

So after all that, you are happy with Russian and Chinese interference?

OP posts:
Nagginthenag · 14/09/2025 09:06

I find it odd that those being so vocal about their contempt for the labour government seemed to have so little to say of over a decade of Tory incompetence, corruption, u-turns, austerity, Brexit led financial distress for business (and the fact that Brexit adversely affected our ability to return migrants to the EU). Where were Mr Musk and Mr Yaxley-Lennon then? Where were the posters on this thread demanding fresh elections?

noblegiraffe · 14/09/2025 09:17

That would explain why the crowd was chanting 'We love Trump!'

I did think it was extremely odd about how a march for 'patriots' carrying England flags was so focused on the US instead of actual England, but it makes sense if that was the audience it was being marketed to.

And you with me. Sweet isn't it?

You seem to assume I'm some Keir Starmer fan boy who can't see any issues with the current Labour government. That assumption is wrong.

You also seem to have missed that despite the scandals and incompetence of the previous Tory administration they stayed in more or less full term from 2019-2024.

With Labour's majority it is possible, but vanishingly unlikely that they won't see through a full term. As for the leadership then we know that can change mid term.

My enemy’s enemy is my ally.
I think I'm probably more careful than you regarding with whom I'm prepared to get into bed with.

DuncinToffee · 14/09/2025 09:25

Patriot Robinson doesn't even live in the UK,

estrogone · 14/09/2025 09:31

Dopeydoraz · 14/09/2025 08:15

I support Tommy Robinson and Elon musk

Have you any non White friends or family (genuinely interested?).

Do you care how much that hurts good, decent people - Muslim, non Christian, LGBTQIA, Black, Female?

Does it not worry you at all? We are all human, how do you reconcile your support of these men, when it comes to children?

Where do you draw the line?

Dontcallmescarface · 14/09/2025 09:40

I find it ironic that most (if not all), those on the march yesterday probably voted for Brexit because they didn't want foreign interference in British politics, yet here they are listening quite happily to a foreigner interfering in British politics.

DuncinToffee · 14/09/2025 09:44

Patriot Tommy also has ties to Russia, he has been a regular guest on Russian state media during trips and has repeats pro-Putin disinformation.
