noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

And yet we are not allowed to say they are stupid.

Which is quite obviously complete nonsense. 110-150,000 people is a tiny, tiny percentage of the population.

Strident minorities are always very loud.

It's about 1 adult in every 200 adults in the whole of the UK who saw fit to go to London and join a march, that's not a tiny tiny percentage, that's actually huge when you consider most people cant afford to top up their weekly shop, let alone a day trip to London.

That's using the media figures as to the attendance, some people, including me, think it's far higher, closer to 800K

(37.5 million adults in the UK according to the last census)

Is that the new Hovis advert? Not keen tbh

I don't think not being able to spell means a person is stupid. I have always found spelling easy but I know there are some people who really struggle with it.

Many years ago I worked with a Chief Inspector in the police and his spelling was appalling. He would always ask me to check it for him.

DuncinToffee · 16/09/2025 12:46

It's not just the spelling.

Fleur-de-lis, dinosaur

Let's hope it is a parody account

GabrielsOboe · 16/09/2025 12:49

Nagginthenag · 16/09/2025 09:59

It is a bit, though. The people I know locally who attended the march aren't the ones running the exercise classes for the elderly, running the youth groups or volunteering to drive hospital transport, helping our local river trust clear the rubbish out of rivers etc etc. These, as far as I'm concerned, are the patriots - doing their best to make their communities that little bit better.

And before anyone starts with thd 'how do you know what everyone on the march does'., I don't, I'm purely commenting on the local people who went on the march.

Do the ‘plastic patriots’ have the vote?

They do.

Is this the population of the UK or of just England?? adult pop of UK is approx 55mil

0,5% is a very small number
99.5% is a very large no

Your maths hasn't improved since yesterday

Apart from the laughable use of English the dinosaur is superb.
This must be a parody. 🤣

Not for the 20mil who live within an hour's travel. It's odd the march numbers weren't much higher isn't it, considering the vast number of people who live relatively close to the march site.
