Fuck OFF Elon Musk

1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

A certain subset of people, possibly. On another thread that is no longer accepting co tribulations, some posters claimed there were 1 million people marching for Yaxley-Lennox’s cause in London today.

Police figures estimate 110,000. Quite some difference.

3 million was suggested on that thread.
Only 27 times out...

He regurgitated his 'left are the party of murder' thing again, totally ignoring the very recent right wing assassination of Melissa Hortman (and her husband and dog), and of course the fact that the majority of political violence has always and still is committed by the right.

His words were inflammatory and false. And what a mockery it makes of his supposed commitment to free speech that he calls on people in another country to overthrow their government because he doesn't like them.

And also conveniently forgetting that the killer is a Magat, not left.

Petitchat · 13/09/2025 19:56

He is South African but has British ancestry.
Maybe that makes him feel he can contribute?

Personally would rather not look to a narcissist with a taste for ketamine who carried one of his many children on his shoulders as protection for a “contribution”.

History will look back upon this time as a very, very strange period.

ComfortFoodCafe · 13/09/2025 20:05

Yes, because Starmer is doing such a fantastic job right now 🙄

That is relevant how, exactly?

freshpyjamas · 13/09/2025 20:43

OP constantly saying people can fuck off is an extremely poor argument.

Our country is economically on its knees and we are allowing open borders for people that we have no means to support.

British people, the large and usually silent majority are absolutely fed up and tired. You have seen the living breathing tangible evidence of that today.

Elon Musk gave voices back to many when he bought X.

For championing free speech, he should be applauded.

Im aware that my views will likely not be popular on Mumsnet but I feel I must speak the truth.

Echobelly · 13/09/2025 20:46

Literally all Musk knows about Britain is what he's heard from a website full of right-wing gobshites and bots (or that's certainly the only but he has paid any attention to). He might also have spoken to some incredibly rich Brits who probably haven't lived here for years. He has absolutely zero right to opine about the 'state of the UK' or tell anyone here what to do.

MrsSkylerWhite · 13/09/2025 20:47

Macette · 13/09/2025 20:29

You fuck off
No you fuck off

What an incredibly pathetic thread

What has the left to do with this? I’m about as centrist as they come. Have voted for pretty much every political party depending on its manifesto that particular election year.

Surely it’s bleeding obvious to anyone of any leaning that Musk is spaced out batshit? What has happened that people like him manage to use up so much of our oxygen? The man is a loon.

Please precisely define the term 'British People' in your post for the avoidance of any doubt.

That's been going on for months across Europe, big sales falls.

You’re so brave.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the living, breathing, tangible evidence was approximately 110,000 people.

It’s certainly a ‘right’ frame of mind.

'British people, the large and usually silent majority are absolutely fed up and tired. You have seen the living breathing tangible evidence of that today.'

No. I have been incredibly heartened hearing family, friends, work colleagues, all saying how disgusted they are at recent turn of events - flags, marches, rascist gobshites like Yaxley-Lennon. And this is in a very wc part of the country, not in the leafy 'burbs. I like to think we are the silent majority.

100,000 people is not any sort of 'usually silent majority'. Today isn't evidence of any majority feeling anything.

Elon gave just a location for the voices of 'many' by unbanning them from twitter - it's a cesspit of horrific views, mostly shared by the people who remain there now. When they were banned from twitter, they were just elsewhere sharing the same views.

We do not have open borders.

Otherwise, yeah you're speaking 'the truth'.

What a fucking nonsense.
Our country isn't being invaded.
It's not being taken over.
We have free speech although it doesn't include inciting hatred.
I take it you like x because you can spew hatred.
Elon musk is not British,he can't vote,he has no place saying WE don't have four years what's with the WE he doesn't reside in this country.
The extreme far right have been peddling this crap for decades.
And don't bother lecturing me on the far right in the UK I held extreme views and know how it works.

It's not meant to be an argument. I can compose an argument when I want to.

But right now I wanted to tell Elon Musk to fuck off and stop trying to interfere in the running of our country.

If you think he has improved twitter, then we shall have to disagree. Twitter seems to currently be full of 'free speech' advocates trying to get people to lose their jobs for things they said on social media.

Fed up and tired of what?
Waking up in a warzone?
Natural disasters caused by climate change?
Scarce food?
No public services?
Ebola outbreaks?
No free healthcare?
Can't dress how you like?
Can't express your opinion?

Things I am fed up and tired of:

-Energy bills going up. Not the fault of migrants
-My weekly Tesco shop increasing every month. Not the fault of migrants
-A pay rise this that's less than the rate of inflation and paying more tax. Not the fault of migrants
-the council not fixing the potholes in my area. Not the fault of migrants
-the town centre being dead and soulless. Not the fault of the migrants.

I think every protester today should concentrate on their own life and realise how god damn lucky they are to be born white.

How are British people silent? All everyone does is say and do exactly what they like and then cry like babies when there are consequences because actual laws have been broken. The hard done-by rubbish is just painful to listen to. “We can’t say anything” - whilst literally saying everything, all the time, all over social media and daily mail comments. Ridiculous.

Yes, telling people to fuck off is a poor argument. Whereas telling people free speech no longer exists whilst adjusting algorithms on your social media platform to promote one central narrative is a fantastic argument!

This thread has had, as of now, 288 votes and only 49 posts.

So if we consider the voters on this thread to be the 'silent majority', guess which option they have gone for?
