Fuck OFF Elon Musk

1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

OP constantly saying people can fuck off is an extremely poor argument.

Our country is economically on its knees and we are allowing open borders for people that we have no means to support.

British people, the large and usually silent majority are absolutely fed up and tired. You have seen the living breathing tangible evidence of that today.

Elon Musk gave voices back to many when he bought X.

For championing free speech, he should be applauded.

Im aware that my views will likely not be popular on Mumsnet but I feel I must speak the truth.

Edited

“The truth” 😂

Yes our country is an economic mess (we all agree there) but my god you actually think the likes of Musk and Tommy the Racist are coming to save you?? That they speak some sort of ‘truth’?! They wouldn’t know truth if it slammed them in the face. All they see in the people at these rallies and those flying flags suddenly is an opportunity. Just like Farage and Boris saw an opportunity with Brexit. Lies lies and more lies. Scapegoat after scapegoat.

His platform had a big influence on the riots in August 2024, especially when it came to spreading misinformation

The riots happened due to the Southport attacks. The riots were always going to happen regardless of his input.

No, his platform played a big role. His input made things a lot worse

If you watch the drone footage, the crowd is absolutely immense. I've not seen a crowd that big since the Stop The War march.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/sep/13/unite-the-kingdom-far-right-rally-london-tommy-robinson-police-assaulted

I think there must be at least a million people, maybe two million. It's hard to say because the drone footage ends without showing what's to the left and right at the junction. Given the density of the crowd, it seems unlikely that it's empty streets just off camera.

Tony Blair said that he knew how unpopular the Iraq war was because for every person out demonstrating, there were probably ten people sat at home with the same views.

You can try and downplay the numbers, but the evidence is there for everybody to see.

I think the people sneering on this thread need to wake up and pay attention to the visceral anger in the country. People are sick of having these unpopular, extremist and niche open borders policies rammed down their throats.

You'll be waking up to a Reform (or genuinely Hard Right) government and wondering how it happened - just like Brexit.

Your counting is as bad as Trumps. Estimates are "up to 150,000". You got it bigly wrong.

Your opinion, not necessarily the truth. How todo know the ‘silent majority’ agree with you?

LetsTryAgainNowThen · 13/09/2025 23:37

I don't want him interfering here or in other countries. It's enough to make me believe in the antichrist.

Thory · 13/09/2025 23:39

25 arrests and dozens of police injured so far. The violence Musk is calling for.

Yes, because Starmer is doing such a fantastic job right now 🙄

At least he's fucking English.

If I tried to tell him how to run Tesla then he'd be perfectly entitled to.

He talked lot more sense than the leader of our so called Government, and he also clearly cares more about this Country than our own leader.

MrsSkylerWhite · 13/09/2025 20:50

You’re so brave.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the living, breathing, tangible evidence was approximately 110,000 people.

Obviously not everyone who supports today's march was there today, but it certainly doesn't mean a vast amount of people weren't there in spirit.

'British people, the large and usually silent majority are absolutely fed up and tired. You have seen the living breathing tangible evidence of that today.'

No. I have been incredibly heartened hearing family, friends, work colleagues, all saying how disgusted they are at recent turn of events - flags, marches, rascist gobshites like Yaxley-Lennon. And this is in a very wc part of the country, not in the leafy 'burbs. I like to think we are the silent majority.

I think you're deluding yourself if you think that. Everyone I know supports today's events. People have had enough.

😂
”He cares”. Really? Why?!

Does he CARE? Or does he just see an opportunity to elicit control upon a country for personal gain?

WHY would someone born in South Africa, living/working in the US care about England. CARE about it?

And yet 85% of voters on this thread want Elon Musk to fuck off.

Perhaps you are in a bit of an echo chamber.

100,000 people is not any sort of 'usually silent majority'. Today isn't evidence of any majority feeling anything.

Elon gave just a location for the voices of 'many' by unbanning them from twitter - it's a cesspit of horrific views, mostly shared by the people who remain there now. When they were banned from twitter, they were just elsewhere sharing the same views.

We do not have open borders.

Otherwise, yeah you're speaking 'the truth'.

As I've just said, not everyone who supports today's events could be there obviously. It doesn't mean people don't support those who turned out today.

And of course we have open borders. That's why we're in this mess.

Tbf, noble, while I fully agree Elon should FOTTFSOFAWHGTFOSM, and I wish some of the others would kindly stfu and stop all this divisive shit stirring (and certainly not throw things at police and their horses) , some posters may have abstained from your voting options.

Do illegal immigrants that come over on boats (and we don't know where they're from) CARE about this Country?
Or do they see it as an opportunity to elicit control upon a country for personal gain?

Well of course there's the possibility that they might not want to admit that Elon Musk is attempting to meddle in our politics, but if they're happy to have him appear that the racist march then they should be big enough to admit that that's what he was there for.

He used to really want to get to Mars. Then he accidentally bought twitter and now seems to be deeply invested in getting the worst possible people elected in various countries. It's very odd.

I’m not sure there was anything accidental about him buying Twitter.

What a fucking nonsense.
Our country isn't being invaded.
It's not being taken over.
We have free speech although it doesn't include inciting hatred.
I take it you like x because you can spew hatred.
Elon musk is not British,he can't vote,he has no place saying WE don't have four years what's with the WE he doesn't reside in this country.
The extreme far right have been peddling this crap for decades.
And don't bother lecturing me on the far right in the UK I held extreme views and know how it works.

You're living in cloud cuckoo land,
