Fuck OFF Elon Musk

1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

@ColdSalads @DuncinToffee
Personally I think 100-150,000 people is about right depending on how dense the crowd was. Which is still a very big number. If it felt like a lot of people that's because it is. But 1 million looked unlikely.

Please watch the posted video.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that the people there could only fil 1.5 Wembly stadiums?

Tell me you haven't seen the footage without telling me you haven't seen the footage.

Are you trolling us? The road leading north is rammed with people for hundreds and hundreds of meters.

Yep, that's what I said, just one road and square. The other roads barely have any people there.

I would say around 2 million.

One would suggest they are somewhat out and that was probably a predicted number.

The Guardian - who published the footage you’ve attached- says more than 110,000, I think that’s a bit of a leap to believe 1 million. Please add your news source that verifies your estimate, which is based on you watching The Guardians footage.

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 15:16

When I see people blatantly lie about the numbers of people there, literally 2 + 2 = 5 stuff, it actually frightens me as to what else they are capable of.

More than 110,000 could be any number.

Look, if you want to lie to yourself after seeing the footage, that's up to you.

Around 2 million now 😂

Me too. But it’s the ‘well over a million’ people I feel like this about. Someone elsewhere posted how long a mi,,ion people would take to pass over one of the bridges on the route - I’ll see if I can find it. This march definitely wasn’t that big.

So if even the right wing papers like The Telegraph and The Daily Mail are reporting 110,000 people, who should we believe? Them or you? And why?

To be frank, can't you see with your own eyes how many were there and the media sources (which are held so sacrosanct - they would never lie) are incredibly wrong.

A few like-minded PP were saying 3 million yesterday - so 1-2 million suggests some kind of adjustment towards reality

Wembley Stadium is absolutely massive and the seats are tiered to fit in as many as possible. So there is also vertical space. 90,000 people is a huge capacity! Hard for most people to comprehend so it seems like a smaller number than it is.
Whereas roads, even wide roads, have less space and people need to spread out a bit as they are walking or it becomes uncomfortable/dangerous. I am not invested in the crowd size as I already think 150000 is a lot. I posted a link to a tool that lets you figure it out for yourself (although you can cheat a bit by massively reducing or increasing the density). Even at moshpit densities I think 2 million is difficult to achieve.

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 15:20

My eyes are seeing ~100k people. There are people there, but they look to be a tenth of the people that were at the Stop the War march.

Yep, check out the Brexit protest footage, much better attended, with good reason:

Brexit protest was estimated at at a million. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47678763.amp
