1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

'Why not look into your own thought process and ask yourself why you can't fathom out that people supportive of the march aren't racists or fascists,'

What, none of them? Not a single racist among the 3 million (😁) marchers?

Do you have proof they are? No you don't.

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 14:06

Yes I can read thank you very much, which is why I'm able to learn what's actually going on in this Country. Maybe you should try it sometime, you might realise that your views are aligned with the tiny minority.

For what it's worth, I don't give a toss that you're 'appalled' by my comments, I stand with the majority of the Country. We can't all be wrong can we? Why not look into your own thought process and ask yourself why you can't fathom out that people supportive of the march aren't racists or fascists, or whatever derogatory label posters like yourself want to imply we are, we are just ordinary people who want the Government to listen.

As for your insinuation that I have a tough life, where TF do you get that from? Don't be so ridiculous, my life is just fine thanks all the same, the question is , is yours?

You come across so extremely critical, it's beyond normal.

I stand with the majority of the Country

Ah, good. You are against the likes of SYL and Farage.

Nagginthenag · 15/09/2025 14:05

What on earth do you want to say that you currently can't?

This isn't directly pointed at you, but it's so frustrating, can't you see the path we're going down?

1984 is staring us straight in the face but you just can't admit it to yourself.

Free speech - but also various Communication Acts which outline what are offences.
So the U.K. don’t tell you what you can say, but only those small numbers of things you can’t - basically You can say what you like as long as you don’t break the law.
The law is there simply for everyone’s protection. If your ex was inciting people to be violent against you or suggesting you need executing - then what would you do?
Will add there seems to be a lack of willingness to let free speech (legal) go both ways at times - free to speak only what the listener can agree with you on.

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 14:08

Do you have proof they are? No you don't.

Equally could be said that you have no proof none of them were racist. Do you really believe that none of the people marching under the auspices of Yaxley-Lennon (so at least one racist on the march) were of his ilk.?

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 14:12

MrsSkylerWhite · 15/09/2025 14:10

yeah, new people's opinions aren't worth anything......

Well said, OP. Say it while we are still allowed to!

But I asked, what is it that you want to say that you can't?

I cannot think of a single thing I want to say that would get me into trouble.

Petitchat · 15/09/2025 14:03

You don't even recognise your own insults?
Wow, wouldn't like to be part of your family or a work associate.

I'm getting on now. Disgusted me.

So you're also anti ageist, along with anti free speech and against peoples right to march?

Another non-insult.

As I clearly do not understand how describing your parents who emigrated to Spain as immigrants is an insult and you oh so clearly so, please explain it to me.

As you know, I commented on my age in response to the poster I was replying to commenting on their own.

I can, I have certain issues with various organisations and I can't say what my heart tells me I should say because I could risk losing everything.

I don't have free speech.

I think you're being very disingenuous tbh. If you have a point about anything, crouched in a polite and respectful way, what is stopping you?

MrsSkylerWhite · 15/09/2025 14:18

Yes, I am anti-ageist, if that helps. Please point out the posts where I said I was anti-free speech and anti-matches. You can’t. I’m very much in favour of free speech and the right to protest. What I am not in favour of are racism, incitement to violence and attempted intervention in our democracy by foreign agitators.

Do try harder.

cardibach · 15/09/2025 14:18

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 13:56

You'll have to find your own sources as you'll probably denounce mine as bias.

UK police make over 30 arrests per day for ‘offensive’ online communications under vague laws criminalising messages that cause ‘annoyance’, ‘inconvenience’ or ‘anxiety’.

Thats what the police have to work under, that's their orders - How can you say we have free speech?

Yes, that’s what the far right politician’s only source said. She said it was from the Times. I couldn’t find the link. Ok, never mind.

Take various conversations in the office, for example, I can't tell people what I actually think, what my heart tells me, because it's not the approved norm, I have to toe a line to avoid repercussions.

80smonster · 15/09/2025 12:15

That’s not what I’m hearing at all. Can you not read? I think there’s a very dangerous far-right uprising and I’m literally appalled by your comments. London is an epicentre of multiculturalism, that’s its absolute beauty and strength. What you are talking about is hatred and bitterness, I suspect you probably have a tough life, because I can’t see where such bigoted views come from - other than innate sadness and hardship. You aren’t welcome in London.

Edited

In my view, the only hatred, bitterness and bigoted views are coming from the anti march people.

Everyone else is extremely happy about the march and trying not to get drawn into the bitterness on here.

Many of us are ecstatic about the march and I look forward to more input in the future, from Elon Musk.

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 13:37

Yes, TR spoke about it a length and to to be fair to him praised the ordinary copper and what they have to put up with from the politicians.

26 policemen were injured by far right yobs in the march. It wasn't the politicians assaulting them.

How does intervention by a foreign agitator square with sovereignty and democracy?

I think you’ve been very restrained ! They all need to fuck off - neanderthals !

Yeah, sure, I'm sure the 26 injured policemen were ecstatic.

It was good the far right yobs were corralled in one place, gave ethnic minorities a day without yobs near them for a change.

The politicians put the coppers on the firing line, though. Did you have anythoughts on the much smaller PA protest last week and the much higher amount of police injuries and abuse?

I don't have free speech.

You only can’t break the law - as in incite violence, defame/slander unreasonably, and similar. You can say your other thoughts, feelings and facts and anything bar an offensive or violent based communication.
I understand that if in work you may worry about your job, but that’s employer’s rules and you do have a choice (actual if not practical) to leave - some protections still are here under whistleblowing though.
I understand if you worry you’ll receive poorer treatment but again is it actually the case you’re not allowed, or it seems more pragmatic not to exercise your right? Again there should be some protections giving some limited ability at least to raise issues.
Just because you daren’t speak or think it would impact you badly doesn’t mean that you can’t however difficult you find your situation, which I hope you can resolve.
