1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

Your right, but it probably came as a welcome change after the horrendous injuries and behaviour towards them by PA protesters the other weekend.

The marchers on Saturday throwing bottles of piss at the police - I'm sure they would have preferred to spend their shift piss free and forgo the thanks from Yaxley-Lennon.

It now appears that the police are interested in interviewing an individual from Saturday's march who made death threats against Keir Starmer. But free speech so that's alright, eh?

Petitchat · 15/09/2025 13:55

DuncinToffee · 15/09/2025 13:43

This march was a prime example of free speech in the UK

Thankyou for recognising that.

Have you got a link to the Times report which seems to be this far right politician’s only source for the figure?

You'll have to find your own sources as you'll probably denounce mine as bias.

UK police make over 30 arrests per day for ‘offensive’ online communications under vague laws criminalising messages that cause ‘annoyance’, ‘inconvenience’ or ‘anxiety’.

Thats what the police have to work under, that's their orders - How can you say we have free speech?

MrsSkylerWhite · 15/09/2025 13:57

Still waiting, @Petitchat . How precisely did I insult you?

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Are you annoyed that there was so little trouble given that there were hundreds of thousands in attendance?

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 13:50

People are being arrested for social media posts - that's not the actions of a country that has free speech.

These 'offensive' sm posts include sending threatening emails to an MP , making false bomb threats, harassing an ex-girlfriend with nuisance calls and veiled threats and spreading rumours about someone in your community being a paedophile.

Look at videos from people who've worked in the hotels and have spoken to these 'asylum seekers'. They've heard it from the horses mouth re the phones.

Also, look at the video where somebody pretends to be an asylum seeker and attempts to enter a heritage place. I can't remember the name of it, but when the man said (in his 'foreign accent' after he pulled up to the office window in his car) that he didn't have any documents with him, he was just allowed through, no questions asked. He was just showing viewers how asylum seekers get free and preferential treatment.

These videos are problematic in my opinion from what I have seen on other topics.
Perhaps EH gatekeeper was being kind that day - perhaps he was helping the integration you all bang on about.
I’ve been in these hotels too, I’ve spoken to asylum seekers often, what you say is nothing I recognise.

Having seen some absolute filth posted online over the last few days I'm fairly certain people can, and are, saying pretty much anything they want.

Imagine being on the end of someone's vile online rants and having no power to stop it. Where do e draw the line. Or are you happy that literally anything can be said?

He was a fraud then. Hope more don’t copy him. Genuine asylum seekers……meh, I can’t get worked up about it. A lot of English Heritage’s sites are unstaffed and therefore free to everyone. Fun fact: EH developed out of the old Ministry Of Works and occasionally you can see one of their laid back signs still in situ saying if you climb on the walls and fall off, well, more fool you.
I wonder how many of the people frothing about FREE ENTRY FOR IMGRANTS TO ARE HERETIGE! are actually members themselves?

DuncinToffee · 15/09/2025 13:59

For anyone interested in those offensive post arrests

https://monkdebunks.substack.com/p/are-30-people-a-day-really-being

The user refers to Emma Monk, the founder of Monk Debunks, who investigated and explained that the statistic of "30 arrests a day for offensive online communications" is true, based on 2023 UK data which showed over 12,000 such arrests under archaic laws like the Malicious Communications Act. While the number itself is accurate

Are 30 People a Day Really Being Arrested for Online Speech in the UK?

Breaking down the viral claim - and what the law actually says about “offensive” messages.

Saucery · 15/09/2025 14:02

Oh I do apologise, OP. Yes, of course Musk should just fuck off and stop interfering. The very definition of someone who just wants to watch the world burn, that man <shudder>

DuncinToffee · 15/09/2025 14:03

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 13:59

We have freedom of speech

Petitchat · 15/09/2025 14:03

MrsSkylerWhite · 15/09/2025 13:00

So your parents are immigrants? How does that sit with you?

I’m getting on now. Disgusted me.

You don't even recognise your own insults?
Wow, wouldn't like to be part of your family or a work associate.

I'm getting on now. Disgusted me.

So you're also anti ageist, along with anti free speech and against peoples right to march?

It's a discussion and debate the public need to have. However, we don't have free speech in this country and it's dishonest to say we do.

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 14:04

What on earth do you want to say that you currently can't?

PandoraSocks · 15/09/2025 14:06

ColdSalads · 15/09/2025 13:52

So that fact that they aren't being prosecuted and only arrested means we have free speech in this country?

Sure.

Not sure why you are extrapolating that from my question. I simply wondered if you knew. Obviously you don't.

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 14:06

80smonster · 15/09/2025 12:15

That’s not what I’m hearing at all. Can you not read? I think there’s a very dangerous far-right uprising and I’m literally appalled by your comments. London is an epicentre of multiculturalism, that’s its absolute beauty and strength. What you are talking about is hatred and bitterness, I suspect you probably have a tough life, because I can’t see where such bigoted views come from - other than innate sadness and hardship. You aren’t welcome in London.

Edited

Yes I can read thank you very much, which is why I'm able to learn what's actually going on in this Country. Maybe you should try it sometime, you might realise that your views are aligned with the tiny minority.

For what it's worth, I don't give a toss that you're 'appalled' by my comments, I stand with the majority of the Country. We can't all be wrong can we? Why not look into your own thought process and ask yourself why you can't fathom out that people supportive of the march aren't racists or fascists, or whatever derogatory label posters like yourself want to imply we are, we are just ordinary people who want the Government to listen.

As for your insinuation that I have a tough life, where TF do you get that from? Don't be so ridiculous, my life is just fine thanks all the same, the question is , is yours?

You come across so extremely critical, it's beyond normal.

DuncinToffee · 15/09/2025 14:05

I'll leave that for others to decide. You're so entrenched in your position, I get it, but hopefully one day you'll see the woods for the trees.

Lemonandorangecheescake · 15/09/2025 14:08

@80smonster oh, and as for saying "you're not welcome in London"

That's priceless, especially when my paternal family is from London, and they ALL share my views, funny that.

Nagginthenag · 15/09/2025 14:08

'Why not look into your own thought process and ask yourself why you can't fathom out that people supportive of the march aren't racists or fascists,'

What, none of them? Not a single racist among the 3 million (😁) marchers?
