Fuck OFF Elon Musk

1000 replies

noblegiraffe · 13/09/2025 19:35

Elon Musk appeared via video link today at Tommy Robinson's Racist March wittering on about woke mind viruses and calling for the dissolution of parliament.

All I really want to say is FUCK OFF ELON MUSK.

Calls to violence are wholly unacceptable, and should be condemned.

Non-state actors criticising the UK government - completely acceptable.

I'm pleased you say calls to violence are wholly unacceptable. This is what makes Musk's intervention so repugnant.

I wonder how he'd react if, say, Jeremy Corbyn called for the US government to be dissolved and for revolution among its citizens? Although I think he made such noises himself while Biden was in role.

What a way to look at democratic government - if they don't agree with me, I'll encourage revolt and overturn the government. If they do agree with me that's OK and everyone else can go hang.

PiggyPigalle · 14/09/2025 13:21

Yeah. lets all think like you.
Alternatively, you could just ignore him.

Ignoring Elon Musk is incredibly stupid, I think.

Plenty of people who ignored Elon Musk thought that Kamala Harris would beat Trump.

Strange people think there is no foreign interference on the left….

Where on the thread has any one said this?

Please cite for me the last time a nonresident, noncitizen leftist called publicly for the dissolution of the British parliament.

spirallingcauldroun · 14/09/2025 13:50

ElCorazon · 14/09/2025 13:26

When people voted “Like foreign interference” they didn’t mean the interference of the boat people and the countries they are coming from. Duh! They mean interference from other democratic and westernised countries who are in favour of free speech.
Are you 5? 🙄

no, are you? you seem quite angry, a bit like a five year old

spirallingcauldroun · 14/09/2025 13:53

"interference from other democratic and westernised countries who are in favour of free speech."

if Elon and the US are your idea of shining beacons of democracy and free speech, there's little hope.

Not sure what relevance that has on a thread telling Elon Musk who is not an immigrant to fuck off meddling in our politics.

But I have given it some thought

  1. given birth to me (same as Tommy Robinson)
  2. been colleagues at work
  3. sat in my classes and learned maths (quite a few immigrants in my A-level maths class this year)
  4. 3 out of the last 4 maths teachers I trained were immigrants, so they're holding up the maths education system
  5. been my dentist

...er, I'm not sure why you want to know?

Sorry I wrote OP but actually meant another poster. I agree that Elon should fuck right off - he’s a dick

poetryandwine · 14/09/2025 13:57

GabrielsOboe · 14/09/2025 11:57

Again?

I am very supportive of Musk, in particular, expressing an interest in UK politics.

Why, because he is rightly often critical of the Labour Government.

I hope that is clear enough for you.

But that’s decision by cases, not principle. It is or is not okay for foreigners, neither citizens nor residents of the UK, to come to the UK to foment insurrection and call for the dissolution of Parliament?

It doesn’t matter whether they are trying to bring down a Government that you support or one that you loathe; it’s the principle. Is it right or wrong?

Baital · 14/09/2025 14:04

Would you find it acceptable for a foreigner, neither citizen nor resident, to call for the overthrow of a government you agreed with?

Or would you say the electorate has chosen this government, and their choices should be respected?

TheJoyOfWriting · 14/09/2025 14:45

ElCorazon · 14/09/2025 11:35

It’s an image thing. They want to cultivate the righteous good samaritan image: “look what a good person I am, helping people from all corners of the globe”
The usual virtue signalling idiots. If someone asked them to take some of these boat people into their own homes, they would run a mile.

Some people may have helped Syrian refugees and others now. I agree open borders people are hypocrites tho.

Who are open borders people?

I have not seen anyone promoting open borders but maybe you have?

noblegiraffe · 14/09/2025 14:53

Boris Johnson was fairly open borders I think.

Some leftists certainly do. I buy a range of books on Amazon & a self published book keeps being flogged called : 'Freedom : the case for open borders.'

Musk is a crazy drug addicted megalomaniac.😵‍💫

He should definitely Fuck off.

TizerorFizz · 14/09/2025 15:24

@noblegiraffe Not as much as Tony Blair if you remember your history. We’ve been brewing this since Brexit was an embryo!

You can always turn to Egypt or Saudi Arabia to ask for advice on democracy and free speech then….what’s holding you back?

I agree. The narrative in the US seems to be moving towards Egypt and Saudi, sadly.

Let's continue to promote democracy, with the electorate choosing the government, and having regular opportunities to change the government.

At the moment Labour, under Starmer, have been elected. You don't need to agree with their policies to support their right to government. They have a majority of elected MPs in the House of Commons.

If a government that implements the policies you agree with, then the electorate should accept that, however they voted. Without someone external saying the government should be overthrown if you don't agree.

Or the UAE or Bahrain. They are quite the hot spots right now. Ask Jenrick. And Elon seems to be a fan of Saudi Arabia so...

On a serious note of course the US has a tradition of free speech, it is enshrined in its constitution. But Elon has been involved in trying to break the parts of US democracy he disagrees with. Him and Peter Thiel/Curtis Yarvin are quite open in their contempt. So, I dont think it's reasonable to use the fact the US is historically better than Saudi Arabia to polish Elons credentials.

Besides, if a prominent figure from Egypt or Saudi Arabia was not only criticising the UK (allowed) but openly calling for our democracy to be bipassed and the government to be overthrown that would be viewed very harshly indeed. Rightly so. If pro-Palestine protesters were openly calling for violent insurrection and the overthrow of the government they would be in prison faster than you could say "terrorist act". Palestine Action was proscribed for far far less.

If you want to be small minded, why not do it in your own village? Where others are more likely to share your vision. Elon Musk, an American billionaire, is manipulating you (and other foolish types), it’s a shame you don’t have the capacity to see what others do.

Edited

The capacity to want families removed by force because they're exercising their rights?

You cerainly do have a fascist type way of thinking.

ThisOldThang · 14/09/2025 18:19

"Palestine Action was proscribed for far far less."

Palestine Action are a terrorist group that have repeatedly used violence to further their politics. Their ram raid on an Israeli defence contractor involved attacking people with sledgehammers. They've violently attacked multiple high street branches of Barclays Bank.

They should have been banned ages ago, but the government only swung into action once they vandalised RAF planes. I guess Keir started to feel vulnerable because his plane is the same model and is stored on the same airfield.

They were proscribed for actual actions, not just for ‘calling for’ things.

Messing about with RAF planes, and therefore national security.

Do you not think thats pretty serious?
