Do you believe in manifestation?

So I actually began to study the science behind it rather than “I’m going to magically wish to be a millionaire by the time I wake up tomorrow)

And honestly small things have happened that I can’t say is just a coincidence.

I hadn’t spoke to a friend in maybe 3 months, in fact she was more of an acquaintance and I had a thought about her and that I probably would hear from her again but it would nice if I did. Just hours later she messaged me.

The other day I was stressed over a jacket I wanted to sell that had been on my Vinted for ages (removed, uploaded 4 times). It’s been up this time for weeks with only a couple of likes, I thought I’m going to sell this. The next day it’s sold.

I had a clear image in my head of someone knocking on my door and giving me a package despite me not having ordered anything, A week later I heard knocking (assumed it was my neighbours door, it was early and I was in bed still). Walked out hours later to a huge box left on my doorstep. My mum had used my Amazon Prime and forgot to charge the address)

So yes I am starting to believe after much in-depth research and listening to lectures, that there is science to your subconscious creating the reality that you see.

No more than I believe in prayer.

It's bunkum.

ArtTheClownIsNotAMime · 11/09/2025 22:20

No. What you're seeing isn't manifestation but confirmation bias.

JellyMouldJnr · 11/09/2025 22:22

So you believe you manifested your mum sending a parcel to the wrong address? What’s the ‘science’ behind that?

Kingsleadhat · 11/09/2025 22:24

No.otherwise people seeing their children starve to death would manifest very different outcomes.

PennySweeet · 11/09/2025 22:26

Lol no.

XelaM · 11/09/2025 22:28

I do

It doesn’t work like that. In very basic language a poor person is desperate for money, Being desperate for something confirms to your subconscious you don’t have it and therefore you cannot project it to show in your reality.

Sounds more like premonitions than manifesting.

Not at all. It’s not about the “how”, I envisioned someone knocking on the door and leaving a oarcel for me. I didn’t think about the “how” this would happen, just the end result of there would be a package for me. And there was.

The how of how it happened is irrelevant.

Just saw your post about starving people. You don't deserve my wisdom.

it sounds like you’re talking about spacestar ordering. This is a pretty convincing video for skeptics out there.

I don’t know .. I’ve only really started studying it. But we manifest all the time. It’s all about your subconscious and what you believe to be true that will manifest itself in your reality.

Hell no. Thinking things don't make them so.

There's confirmation bias, there's subconscious thoughts and actions towards making things happen but there's no "imagine it and it will happen" fairy dust.

GarlicPint · 11/09/2025 22:36

Think about it ... 750 people want a particularly great job. They all meditate, pray, manifest, visualise, wish and think positively about themselves getting that job and doing that job. This means they're all wishing for 749 people to not get that job.

So who wins? Why them?

I will say that focusing your attention on a particular thing or outcome does help you achieve it (if it's possible). This is basic psychology - you'll spot opportunities and work out development pathways that you'd have missed if your mind was elsewhere.

It can't make you win the Omaze house or compel your mother to choose the wrong delivery address, though.

So you have to be indifferent for it to work?

TheOtherAgentJohnson · 11/09/2025 22:37

It's pretty appalling that you use your magical powers for such lame shit, OP. What is the matter with you? With great power comes great responsibility.

I think this used to be known by the old adage "where there's a will, there's a way".

So, if poor people can just curb their desperation a little, they'll be able to project correctly and the money will magically appear?

How so?

Take my first example. I subconsciously thought of someone who is an acquaintance and thought it would be nice to hear from her. Hours later that same day she messaged me just to say she liked my profile photo on WhatsApp. I did nothing to instigate it and my photo had been changed for a couple of weeks by then.

It’s not fairy dust. It’s your subconscious projecting your reality.
