If you are mid-forties, how old are your children?

Just musing on this as I recently told people I was taking a day off to attend my daughter's graduation and they assumed I meant from nursery 😂

I'm mid-forties and my children are 21 and 17.

My relative of the same age, DC are 21, 15, 9.

Acquaintance of same age has 18, and 9, and is about to become a grandmother by their eldest.

My cousin became a grandmother at 44 @Starseeking - she had her own daughter at age 20. It was wonderful to see, she and her husband are besotted with their little granddaughter and I did get a tiny pang of "ooh I hope that's me one day!".
