So , the news came out this week that apparently Peter has had custody of Princess and Junior for a long time . I see that now it’s a new hate campaign against Katie. But , I just can not shake the feeling that Peter Andre is not a nice person.

I have felt it for a while , I watched all their shows and he was horrible to her and I read her books ( admittedly , we don’t know what is the truth and it is only one side of the story ) but something about him I just find unsettling. He has stayed quiet , which people seem to think shows he is the better person. But , I think he knows that it will and that is the only reason he’s done that. I also do not feel comfortable with his marriage, the way it started. Emily is his friends daughter , a big age gap, he already had 2 children and she was training to be a doctor but now barely practices .. of course , it could well be her choice as she can afford to stay at home and look after the children and she could be very happy but just the way he treated Katie and the way it all came about something feels off .

I am not massively pro Katie - she has made a LOT of bad choices …. But she’s also a businesswoman who made a lot of money doing what she does , provides for her children and has raised - and continues to raise - a severely disabled son and she clearly adores him whilst his Dad doesn’t care and Peter also appears to have forgotten about him.

Im sure this thread will have 2 clear sides , interested to hear peoples views

Quite. I'm no fan of PA but claiming his ongoing and current success is because of a woman he divorced 16 years ago is a real reach.

True, a lot of it is hearsay. I admit I spend far too much time reading this stuff on Facebook ..not the most reliable source of info! I do feel for Katie though. She's obviously very unwell.

Is she unwell? Or does she have a personality disorder? It's not quite the same thing. She often says she's got mental health problems but her behaviour indicates narcissism and histrionic personality disorder to me, which is different.

Has anyone seen the video clip of her pretending to eat Junior's snail when he was 4? She really upset him and when he was sobbing she just looked at him dispassionately and told him she wasn't serious and didn't make any effort to console him, as he went off to find his dad she said 'whatever'. She's cold as ice.

I keep seeing people saying she's unwell and each time I wonder what they mean. In what way do they think she is? I mean she says she has ADHD but so do many many others and they don't behave as she does.

She's definitely a narcissist in my opinion. I don't think she's mentally ill, it's a disorder.

That was really upsetting to make a little child cry (about 3?) by pretending to kill his pet. Then to make absolutely no effort to comfort the child - no physical contact with him at all - just staring dispassionately doing the "only joking" thing to a distraught child.

It was telling that the child ran inside to find his daddy for comfort.

I can never make up my mind about that. I try to give her the benefit of the doubt but she does show a lot of narc traits. I'm never sure about the videos with Harvey either. She is always being accused of doing them for publicity which is probably true, but he does seem to genuinely have a good relationship with her, the way he is with her. I clearly spend too much time in FB at the moment, I need to get out more!

Why wouldn't he have a good relationship with her though? She's probably the only person who shows him physical affection poor lad and she's been his main attachment figure throughout his life. Parents can be neglectful and abusive and children still love them. Princess loves her mum, Harvey does, junior seems ambivalent. It seems clear that Harvey meets a need for her (probably because of his disabilities he doesn't challenge her in the same way as junior would) and princess does because she's attractive and likes dressing up and social media. But there is documented evidence that she emotionally abused and neglected princess - and given she had 4 kids removed, although Harvey was either too old to be removed at the time or was already in LA care (I'm not sure) he must also have experienced abuse and neglect - it is the only conclusion. Read any thread here on adult children of narcissistic parents - there is love of a kind towards the parent even if it's mixed up with all kinds of other negative feelings. I don't think the fact that Harvey seems to love her and she is affectionate with him on social media negates in any way at all that she is an abusive parent.

He is a vile man. There’s multiple pieces of footage of him on his reality TV shows behaving disgustingly. He is absolutely obsessed with people thinking of him as a good person (this desire was even noted in the judgement of the ITV vs Neville court case. The judge was very scathing of PA).

Literally makes my skin crawl if he’s on TV.

Even if PA is a total shitheel (I have no idea one way or another), it doesn't follow that Katy Price is therefore okay.
Has children taken off her, kills pets, drives drunk, drives drugged, drives disqualified... no shitty ex is going to exonerate her of that.

Those clips have been doing the rounds on tiktok and are very highly edited just to show him snapping or getting angry with her. Watch the show again on YouTube unedited and watch the build up. Im not saying he's amazing, he probably isn't, but it is very easy to edit someone to make them look evil and nasty without the context.

I just look and say how many times has he been arrested? How many children has he had removed from his care? The answer is none and that says something to me with her history.

However, he is the lesser of two evils when it comes to custody of their children. KP is unhinged and keeps killing her animals and going bankrupt. Not to mention the drink driving. She’s not fit to have custody of those poor kids

Both people can be awful at the same time. I don’t have to be Team KP because I think PA is vile. They haven’t been married for over a decade. Do I need to publicly state my opinion on both of them if I want to say something about PA?

Loads of people get a career boost after being on I’m a celeb. Renewed interest in him with sone interviews /some competition presenting on this morning slot and musicals seems likely to always have been an option post the show.

I rarely watched their show but I have never forgotten the different ways P A and K P responded to Junior and his pet snail, P A chatted with the child about it whereas K P mocked him. It really stuck in my mind as a cold and heartless way to treat a very young child. She really isn't cut out to be in any sort of caring role be it for animals or children, she seems to see them solely as adjuncts of herself

Yes, apparently not safe environment. His girlfriend Michelle was vile to KPs children, there is CCTV footage of her chasing J & B to their room/s and throwing a pie at Bunny, it goes all over her bed and she’s crying her eyes out. Jett says he hates this house in the footage. So sad. Apparently she was mistreating them, KH knew and did nothing to protect them. They live with KH’s mum now.

I liked Peter Andre and he adopted Harvey and certainly kept up a relationship with Harvey for years after the divorce. He signed some sort of agreement that he wasn't allowed to talk about Harvey so it was pretty low key.

He very obviously loved Katie and their children and she dumped him for the next man along, like she always did and does still.

She’s not a “businesswoman”, for heaven’s sake.
