Katie Price and Peter Andre

So , the news came out this week that apparently Peter has had custody of Princess and Junior for a long time . I see that now it’s a new hate campaign against Katie. But , I just can not shake the feeling that Peter Andre is not a nice person.

I have felt it for a while , I watched all their shows and he was horrible to her and I read her books ( admittedly , we don’t know what is the truth and it is only one side of the story ) but something about him I just find unsettling. He has stayed quiet , which people seem to think shows he is the better person. But , I think he knows that it will and that is the only reason he’s done that. I also do not feel comfortable with his marriage, the way it started. Emily is his friends daughter , a big age gap, he already had 2 children and she was training to be a doctor but now barely practices .. of course , it could well be her choice as she can afford to stay at home and look after the children and she could be very happy but just the way he treated Katie and the way it all came about something feels off .

I am not massively pro Katie - she has made a LOT of bad choices …. But she’s also a businesswoman who made a lot of money doing what she does , provides for her children and has raised - and continues to raise - a severely disabled son and she clearly adores him whilst his Dad doesn’t care and Peter also appears to have forgotten about him.

Im sure this thread will have 2 clear sides , interested to hear peoples views

I never liked Pete, the Saint.
I think KP is extremely vulnerable with the news stories around her daughters documentary, she has been close to suicide before.
Her children have really suffered by her lifestyle. Awful.
She probably should be held for her safety.

Peter Andre has never tried to pretend he is a saint. The only person who has tried to peddle that notion is Katie.

I think princess and junior were trapped in a horrendous situation, it's lovely they're so close and at least have Emily.

He's not living with her. He hasn't for many years and even when he did, she had a succession of random people babysitting him all the time.
She wheels him out nowadays for Social Media content.

If find all of this so confusing. If KP is so dreadful, who does her sensible looking sister Sophie feel so warm towards her? Why does Emily not feel repulsed by PA. It’s all so odd.

For her sister its all about the gravy train. The whole family have been on it ever since she became "famous".

Her sister also had a shot at Page 3 when younger, and is now peddling herself as an influencer (badly).

you’ve drunk KP’s cool aid. She and her team coined the phrase Saint Pete instead of just letting the man be. I am starting to think that her whole clan are repulsive fame hungry grifters. Her sister even publicly blamed Princess for leaving her mum out of her show ie denied them all the opportunity to grift more money for old rope.

Perer Andre may be a one-hit wonder but do you know how many people try and never even get close? He has earned his celebrity. He has done musicals etc. which takes skill and experience. He and Emily are a match. How come we don’t call KP a creep for being with a man 15 years her junior?

Peter’s career and life was washed up until he met Katie. It was only her fame that put him back in the limelight. Katie has severe mental health problems and issues with addiction. I feel very sad for her. I believe the children should be prioritised, and Peter seems to doing all he can to care for and support his children. Does he have integrity? No, but I think he is stepping up to parent and raise his children.

I believe Jett and Bunny are with Kieran's parents...so he's not a great dad either!

To be fair you/we have no idea why that decision was made (if in fact it was!) the children have been out of the public eye since they were removed in April last year. Online rumour says they were placed with his parents but that may have been while proceedings were ongoing and assessments were carried out. They might have been returned to him or they might have stayed with their grandparents with contact with him - none of us know. We do know they were estranged from him for 18 months and likely alienated in that time so returning them to his care may not have been the right thing for them at that time.

Most people who go on IAC’s careers are washed up. Katie Price’s certainly was as her only claim to fame at that time was based on her surgically-enhanced tits. Zero talent in any other area beyond making an exhibition of herself by being crude in public. At least Andre had some musical talent.
Their subsequent success as a couple (despite he continuing to believe she was the main draw) was as a result of re-branding by Peter’s management. The fact that, post-split, her career has nose-dived and she is in severe financial trouble and has had endless dramas and crises whereas he has gone on to make a successfully happy and stable life for himself (incl marriage and children who haven’t been removed by SS) tells you everything you need to know.
