Kissing a man with a beard

I actually feel quite silly typing this but here goes. Ive met and been on a date with a lovely man who I definitely want to see again. He has a full but well groomed beard which actually does really suit him and I do like it, I love the rugged masculine look. But Im actually feeling quite anxious about kissing him with his beard. will I get a mouth full of hair? will it be in the way? I think im just overthinking things but how to you kiss a man with a full beard! im in my 40s and always had a clean shaven man or just a bit of stubble. I feel like a silly teenager typing this!

I have to avoid men with facial hair because it really irritates my super sensitive skin . I end up with a bad rash and looking sunburnt .

His beard is long but looked after. He conditions it so its soft.

Husband has a full beard, I have no problem with it. Son also has a full beard, daughter in law doesn't seem to mind.

It will be fine though my husband has a beard and I really dislike it. I actively avoid kissing him as much as I used to because I don’t like the way it feels 🙈 Never had a mouthful of hair though!

This reminds me of the one time I kissed this boy (I didnt want to, but I had some problems as a teen) and his beard and moustache was sweaty 😅🤢🤢🤢

My husband has had a beard for the last 7 years or so and it’s gross kissing him so I rarely do anymore. We’re still intimate and affectionate though.

Yeah I don't like kissing DH when he has too much of a beard. Much prefer when he's clean shaven. Loads of men have beards though so I guess if they have spouses / partners not everyone minds!

Its usually nicer than stubble tbh, which is like snogging a piece of sandpaper. Just don't overthink it, you'll be grand!

DH sometimes grows a beard, never even thought about it being different. I like it when he does it suits him.

Unfortunately lots of creepy crawlies in beards however well maintained they are. Wouldn't want them in my mouth and would advise you to get your duck in a row and move on.

It’s fine it’s not an issue. Apart from one time I kissed a date after we’d been out for dinner and it stank of garlic butter. We’re not together now ( for issues unrelated to smelly beard)

Dh has a full beard. When we kiss, it must be pure lip-to-lip action, as I can't think that I ever actually taste or feel hair.

It's like kissing but without the facial scrub/sandpaper of clean shaven/too short stubble. A bit of extra cushioning! That's providing the tache is nearly trimmed. Same goes for sex 😅

I've never had any issues with beards - it makes absolutely no difference.

Just make sure that you are shaved so that you don't get stuck together like velcro. 😉

Kissed a few men with beards and moustaches and never had a mouthful of hair. It can tickle other places but not an unpleasant sensation IMO! 😊

When I met my DH he had a goatee. He now has the full Grizzly Adams face fur and in between has had clean shaven and stubble. Kissing him is fabulous whatever his facial hair situation is. As long as the 'tache is trimmed cos it can kind of occasionally poke up your nose ... doesn't stop me though cos he's a bloody amazing kisser 😁 I've been kissing him for 23 years (pausing for breath, food and child rearing occassionally obviously!)
