so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

VB & indeed both are furiously & unusually ambitious I think.

I suspect there’s plans for Harper… the fact they’ve put her on insta selling her mothers make up at age 13 shows just how ruthless they are. She’s got no chance of having a proper childhood or teenage years.

As pleasant & kind as BB likely is I can’t see the appeal for Nicola (?) She seems more intelligent for one thing & you’d surely want someone to match here? How dull & frustrating after a while if a mismatch? NB: interviews.

Trinny’s daughter, although older, has been doing similar in playful way for some time. I doubt any career scheme afoot. Maybe same for H, giving Beckhams benefit of doubt.

Him being good for her career makes no sense. Even DB/ VB have no influence in the movies- Nelson at least can afford to buy her her own film (Lola 😭)

the fact that her wedding was featured in vogue is absolutely great for her career, maybe that’s what they meant.
But lots of weddings of now nobodies have been featured in vogue too, so it’s no silver bullet.

I'm interested to see whether Victoria pulls off the documentary and is able to increase her popularity like David did with his. Her close friends always say she is very funny and they seem to be very loyal to her, but I think her public profile has always lacked authenticity. Maybe this is something she has in common with Nicola now I think about it!

I actually think it would be nice for VB to come out of David's shadow and to win over audiences this time, as I'm pretty sure she is the mastermind behind brand beckham who has always worked hard and tried to be a good mother and wife, despite not always getting things right. I don't particularly like her but I do respect her ambition and drive... not many people manage to maintain her level of celebrity status for over 30 years after being seen as the least talented member of a pop group!

I feel, with v famous men that the wife feels her identity is wrapped around him (even if she is famous too). Let’s face it, if Vic left him, David would get himself a much younger, hotter, girlfriend as quick as a flash. They would then be the tabloid’s obsession, they might even have kids together so David can reinvent himself again.

This makes me think of Louise and Jamie Redknapp who were like a kind of lower grade Posh and Becks. I don’t know why they broke up and whether anyone cheated but he was very quickly in a new relationship and his wife is absolutely gorgeous whereas I’m not sure what Louise is doing or if she’s in a relationship.

I disagree with the middle two paragraphs. The idea of only a man being able to find a younger, hotter partner is a bit dated, sexist and cynical in 2025. Plenty of women over 50 find happiness with younger men too.

There’s older and still beautiful nowadays, especially as we have HRT and know more about how to look after ourselves.

It was quite some time ago that when asked what she wanted to do when she grew up - Harper Beckham said ‘to build a global brand’ what 9/10 year old even has that as a concept? All I can think is this is all she hears at home day in day out as something critical or aspirational but (obviously) really hasn’t a clue what this entails or what unique passions, skills or calling she might have to express and develop - rather just feels the need to fit her parents drives. Sad really.
