Anyone fancy a quick tarot card reading? (I need practice)

Trying to get better at reading the cards.

Anyone got something they want a quick answer too? Yes/no questions are ideal for the sake of speed but if you really want to know something else feel free to ask.

I'm NOT a psychic so you'll probably need to give some context. Just whatever you are comfortable with.

I wondered, reading these cards if this was a reading where someone just isn't treating you right and you're just tolerating it.

If it's a case of 'oh he does xyz but, he loves me really'. Or 'oh he's very fickle and I don't know where I stand but I'm waiting around to find out'.

But the thing is that the reading is weird in that at first it was being very clear that this guy, just, isn't the one. Or just isn't suited to you. Honestly it felt like he was bad news or, going to cause you lots of hurt.

But then it was talking about someone being the one for you (or suitable for you).

And I thought, why is it giving me two very opposite answers.

Either, it's maybe indicating that this person is very on off or, that you yourself are in two minds. Like 'oh I love xyz about him' but he does something I'm really not ok with. Like liking someone but recognising they are your match or even, that they just aren't very nice.

The other alternative is they are telling you there is someone actually on the scene who is more suited to you. Or, soon to come in.

It is possible btw there is affair energy here. I'm assuming from him. Or some other betrayal, dishonesty or malignancy.

I think this person maybe loves you, when.it suits.him. And the cards are cautioning you to love yourself. Don't take any shit.

I hope you've not just got married or this reading will be awkward haha.

I can see a lot of hurt caused here and it's talking about either immaturity (someone feeling the other party incapable of just being adult about something) or, a situation regarding kids.

I wonder if the situation involves you feeling like you've had to behave like the grown up or even, the parent with her. Or pethaps it her that feels you have behaved immaturely or impulsive.

I do see someone reaching out, calling a truce and reconciliation. It's going to take some patience and soul searching. It looks like it's your mother that's reaching out to you. I don't know if she is religious but forgiveness or 'what would Jesus do?' might be relevant to it.

It feels like there is an olive branch that is intially rejected. Maybe you went to her to try make her see sense and she wasn't having it.

I think she may need to just be let be to think over what you've said. Give eachother space as right now it feels like you are polar opposites regarding whatevers happening. But I do see a family coming together.

I see the chariot, which actually makes my think of mobility aid, I don't know if that's something that's in the works? And in fact movement comes up lots in your reading.

There is also talk of a hobby that you will take up. It might be something to do with: arts and crafts, jewelry making, acting or creative writing. It feels like cosplay or designing or something with a sort of fantasy or ye olde world feel tbh.

There's not lots of people in the reading but a new animal companion or close confidant is coming in. There's going to be something to celebrate soon too.

There's talk of patience and hanging in there. That's not to say that you won't be successful first go. But it may mean you have had to or will have to wait a while. I do see family in the cards however.

I get two questions from the cards, firstly, do you enjoy the job? And secondly, is it 'too much' work or pressure?

I wonder if you are also looking at the jobs of other people in your life and feeling a little envy?

There is something about the peacock. The peacock is magnificent and it knows it is. The cards advise that you can aim your sights higher if you so please.

Something keeps coming in about a fresh start on new beginning (I did wonder if a baby was relevant).

Safety and stagnation came up too. Sometimes we sacrifice one for the other. You may need to ask yourself what is more important.

Before I did your reading I was thinking of that 'red light, green light, red light, green light' game that they play in squid games.

I then pulled the temperance card.

To me it feels like there's been frustration about not being able to get something underway or done. Or that something keeps getting in the way of other plans. Or, sure as fate when something good happens it seems to be followed up by something bad like some sort of sick twist of fate.

I see ideas being formed and waiting to take off.
There's something to do with a social gathering or friendship coming in. And a partnership. I did wonder if it was a wedding.

There may have been fights or arguments.

The roadblocks are starting to clear and you are working to improve things. It won't feel quite as frustrating or oppressive as before. The wheel of fortune always is always spinning. Bad luck can always become good.

Ok so, I don't see movement necessarily from either side. But it does seem like there is some resolution you are happy with. I did wonder if you got such a good offer on your own property that you were happy to take it. Because there's some sort of offer coming in. It may be help from others to be fair (eg: they get told off by the council).

There's this weird sort of note about good and evil. Perhaps that's how things feel living there. Like living next to people who are awful in just completely the worst way or people that seem to have a vendetta.

Unfortunately the problem is, if you bunk with pigs you get covered in pigshit. The filth spreads.
So you either need to run for the hills or, build a damn high fence.

I do think something is coming in to help you with the problem soon.

There's something about noseyness/lighting or CCTV here. Maybe that's being going on. Maybe it's something that'll help.

Just be careful that you aren't staying for the sake of 'winning'. They will be the same with anyone near them, it is in their nature. They only win if you play the game when it would be better for you to walk away

Thank you so much for this - your are spot on! Yes they are very vindictive and unreasonable, the council have been involved and found in our favour but while our complaint was being considered we were constantly threatened to withdraw our complaint. Our family love our home so we did not want to leave and have planted a huge hedge which is helping! Things are much better and settling down but I have been speaking about putting in CCTV with my husband just so we can ensure that they do not falsely accuse us of anything, if they can make trouble for us they will! They are very difficult people with a number of issues, SS and police involvement so maybe they have enough going on and generally I think unhappy / unhinged! Once again thank you.

Anyway I asked it a question and she used chat gpt to interpret the answer. I didn’t like the answer much and I’m lying in bed now thinking about it! I’d love a ‘proper’ reading by somebody who knows what they’re talking about x

Thank you. I asked if I would get a job I have applied for and I drew the five of pentacles. I can’t remember if it was reversed or not. It was a very clear “no”. My google search seems to confirm this. So maybe it is clear cut? I was pretty skeptical about the whole tarot (or I thought I was, until I began lying awake!) so I suppose I’m just curious to know if somebody with better energy and belief in the cards would come up with something similar.

I'm determined to do everything up to page 12ish (I'm over half way through 9 now) and will do some after too but just more based on what takes my fancy. But if you do see me get close to yours and want to change the question because it's not relevant anymore just let me know around that time and I'll get you. I'm just trying to stick to order because otherwise I forget who I've done and who I haven't xD

Ooh yeah that's a tough one. Seems like a no right enough.

Of course, there are variables. Eg, how well the deck was shuffled, if you drew the card for yourself or she drew it for you, the fact that it's her deck and not yours, her energy or the mindset you were in etc... these things can arguably affect things.

I usually draw another card or two for good news if a reading seems harsh. And always keep in mind that if you don't get it, it just wasn't the job for you. Something better may be in the pipeline.

I don't have my deck ATM but I grabbed a little affirmation deck to hand and the card picked says 'a change is coming into your life. Keep focus on your life goals and strive towards achieving them knowing that success will ultimately be yours. You've got this'.

So...patience may be a requirement but, good things are on their way :)

I actually have a few of those cards stuck (along with some fun pictures and eolaroids etc) on the wall near my bed so that if at night I find myself ruminating on sad stuff I can have a little look at them and cheer myself up and focus on the hopeful stuff instead of stressful stuff. Maybe thats something that might be worth you doing too. A little vision board or something to keep your mind on positive stuff.

Hey woody I think I should be nearing you now. I'm on page 9 (for me) doing posts from the 19th (there was a lot of them but I think surely I'm coming to the end of them now).

I did post a loose cut off around page 12 but it's a loose cut off as I still intend to do more past it, it's just it'll probably just be the ones im most drawn to. I'll keep you in mind!
