Mini skirts- when is one too old to wear them?

Hi everyone,
Just after opinions pls.....
I wear shorts and mini skirts a lot in the summer, I am very comfortable in both. However I am 'mature' shall I say. I am of small build UK size 8 or 10. I have just recently started wondering ...'am I too old to wear such attire?'
Any thoughts would be very welcome....thx :)

Having said that, if the skirt isn’t super short then I think it’s fine. I wouldn’t class Bridget Macron length as a proper ‘mini’ for example.

I hear you, I hear you...you make a good point , cant knock it in some ways. Mind you , both men and women are wearing mini skirts too these days aren't they!!

Probably not a good look in your coffin. But otherwise you're good I'd say.

When you're dead.

I'm 40. I'm size 20. Im nearly 6ft. I live in mini skirts and dresses...tights in the winter, bare leg in the summer.

They're comfortable and despite being fat, I have nice legs so they're flattering. But even if they weren't flattering, if I still liked them, I'd wear them .

Obviously wear whatever you want.

But it depends on so many things. It’s not a check box of ‘good legs so fine’ that so many older women seem to think. It depends on your general style. If you are a very trendy dresser and wear a tube skirt with opaques, it’s going to look a lot less jarring or ‘aging’ than the bare legs Boden mini look. In short, does it work with your style? Do you like your style?

As long as you bloody well want. Maybe with thicker tights if you feel your legs aren't ageing well, but go for it. I've got lousy legs, but at 71 I still rock a bit of cleavage on a night out.

You can wear them whenever you like, regardless of age or state of your legs, as long as you don’t mind other people privately thinking ‘OMG, what does she look like?’

Who needs to care about awful judgemental cretins like that anyway?
