To start:
You're not a feminist if you're a "Mrs"
You're not an environmentalist if you're a meat eater

@Brefugee , I don't because I think many would assume it to mean person who identifies as nonbinary, genderfluid, or gender non-conforming.

well i use it when I'm ordering things and i literally don't give a stuff what some person in a fulfilment centre thinks i am, i am more concerned that they stop using oversized boxes to send something that doesn't actually need packaging.

It really isn't. Feminism has always been about a woman's right to choose for herself and ensuring that she has the opportunity to make that choice - good, bad or indifferent.
No-one should choose for her or preempt her decision.

It really wasn't and putting really in front of what youre saying doesn't lend it gravitas or anything.
Feminism was about securing equal rights for women, challenging the notion of women being inferior and advocating for educational and professional rights and opportunities for women. It was never about creating a world in which women would feel empowered by agreeing to anal sex or getting boob jobs out of "choice".

Yes, and all that was and is to give women and girls the right to choose their education, employment, relationships, financial security and political affiliations.
Feminism has allowed women to choose how they live.
Do we still have a long way to go? Yes.
Do some women make (what I would consider) stupid choices? Yes but that is their right.
I think, and its only my opinion, that part of the reason that women's rights are being eroded is that these choices are often taken for granted and some younger women don't realise how recently the right to make these choices was gained.

I doubt that someone in a distribution centre would even notice if it was a Prince A York of Windsor ordering a bulk delivery of anti-perspirant. @Brefugee .

Brefugee · 10/07/2025 14:35

but i am not in their database under any gender/sex. so i don't get gendered marketing mails.
I literally don't care, but if it's a mandatory field it's better than nothing. Sometimes i use Mr.

You’re not an Aries if you were born in January. 🤪

What's that got to do with the price of cod?
