Cheese or beans first…

Having jacket spuds yesterday and it always weirds me out because dd13 is the only one of us, out of 8nthat puts beans and then cheese on her potato. She states we are the weirdos despite her being the only one, so help me settle a debate, is it cheese or beans first

Nah, see why wouldn’t you want your cheese ultra melted, sandwiched between 2 hot things… it just don’t make sense the other way 😂

I recently swapped over which felt like a radical change
I used to do beans then cheese, but then had a jacket with cheese and beans at a cafe which was served that way around, and I realised the cheese melted more, so I do it that way now 😋

Either is fine. Both delicious.

I like to do both a decent amount of cheese on top of butter and salt mashed into my spud, then lots of beans and then a generous helping of more cheese. This ladies and fentlemen probably explains why I hsve gallstones and hsve been banned from eating cheese.

Beans then cheese on a potato but on toast I prefer cheese (toasted) then beans.

That may be but let be honest with ourselves here, your spud is the most superior sounding up to now.

Cafes and potato vans that put your fillings on and THEN ask if you want butter are an abomination, and a disgrace to the catering industry.

Butter, then cheese, then beans, then bacon, with salad on the side - it's a tried and tested formula since time immemorial.
