I quite like it! 🤣

Flofortoday · 12/06/2025 22:22

Yuk

Fifty shades of grey with a touch of blue which you'd miss if you blinked. So cold and I agree with the poster who said it looks like a hotel. Not a home for children to live in etc.

CoubousAndTourmalet · 12/06/2025 22:25

Well, I have no idea who the person is, but the house is vile. It has no soul whatsoever.

LunaDeBallona · 12/06/2025 22:29

What a horrible grey house.
No character, nothing of architectural merit or interest.
I find it sad that people don’t have individual taste - it’s like the world’s worst conference Center. Utterly horrible.
Give me a nice farmhouse with character any day.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/06/2025 22:35

Eurgh it's like the lovechild of a conference centre and a shopping centre

MagentaRocks · 12/06/2025 22:36

If I had that sort of money it is absolutely the type of house I would be interested in. There's no-one else's taste or colour scheme to worry about and a blank canvas to do what you want with it and choose your own style/colours.

labradorservant · 12/06/2025 22:37

I think that is Holl house. Owned by the guy who owns Big motoring world. Featured in the Horrid Henry film. Sits on a plot of land near Keston. Rio Ferdinand lives nearby ish.

soupyspoon · 12/06/2025 22:37

Loving the 4 birth garage

PUSH!!!

BristolDolly22 · 12/06/2025 22:38

I could cope with living there, I wonder how many people it takes to clean it?
I always wonder about huge houses like this, where would you end up spending most of your time and would there be big parts of the house that you never really went in?

RaraRachael · 12/06/2025 22:39

It's horrible. Very cold, clinical and soulless.

I hatd arge rooms and high ceilings.

I'm perfectly happy in my wee 2 bedroom fisherman's cottage.

user764329056 · 12/06/2025 22:39

Soulless

The guy that set that firm up has an outstanding LinkedIn account. Absolute gold.

OffToLockUp · 12/06/2025 22:47

Go on then, I’ll have it! 😊

DeSoleil · 12/06/2025 22:24

This wasn’t Mrs T’s house. Her house was really quite charming - this one is built on the site of her former home.

Both Keston Park and nearby Farnborough park have amazing real estate.

RobinEllacotStrike · 12/06/2025 22:51

Beige is the new sad grey.

TheFairyCaravan · 12/06/2025 22:56

It’s horrible. Totally soulless.

Gardenbumblebee · 12/06/2025 23:13

The estate agent clearly doesn't know the area. No one who could afford to live in this house would set foot in Orpington High Street.

This is my old stomping ground. Keston and Farnborough Park now have barriers and security guards but many years decades ago you could drive into them. My bf and I used to drive round in my ancient purple Renault looking at all the beautiful houses. You had to be quick though as there was a security guard patrolling in a car who would give you a bollocking if he caught you!

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 12/06/2025 23:17

I could never sleep in that master bedroom with a gallery overlooking the bed. I sort of like the sunken inside/outside swimming pool though.

BettyBobble · 12/06/2025 23:36

Hate it. All fur coat

DuesToTheDirt · 13/06/2025 00:06

If it were a hotel, and I found myself staying there (in some alternative universe where I am rich), I'd be very pleased. As a house, no thanks.

alsohappenedoverhere · 13/06/2025 10:25

All of you saying it’s vile, I would love to see your homes Blush

Venturaventura · 13/06/2025 10:28

Just shows money can’t buy taste. It’s absolutely soulless.

ungratefulcat · 13/06/2025 10:36

Wow, it's bleak!

DancingNotDrowning · 13/06/2025 10:38

It’s soulless because clearly no one is living it.

Usually I prefer period homes but I actually think this is a great house, the only room that I wouldn’t get much use of is the salon but all the other rooms are a great size/layout/position - it flows nicely and is what I would expect/want in a house of that size.

im not a fan of the balustrades on the stairs and I’d likely change the bar area but thats easily changed
