This weekend I meet my people!

30th Jan 2019, me and five others created a WhatsApp group after meeting on MN.

Four of us remain. This weekend we finally meet for the first time!

These ladies were with me for COVID. We laughed, we cried. Our toddlers grew in to children. We've experienced loss, illness, new jobs, studying.

Just wanted to enjoy that the power of MN brought us together. Unless there's a trucker called Dave who I'm about to accidentally meet this weekend!

How lovely. I met one of my now closest friends from a mn support group during our first babies in lockdown. We met up and now see each other regularly!

Hopefully the weather will be good and have lovely time.

Dave, you doing it wrong. You aren’t supposed to reveal yourself until you meet.

Seriously though, I’ve met some lovely MNers and none of us have turned out to be axe murderers or Dave.

So I'm travelling about 3.5 hours from the south. Someone else about 3.5 hours from the east. One is travelling across some water. And the other we are off to stay with.

Hopefully there will be no secret late night ghosts or creaky floor boards. No possessed people or axe wielding blokes.

I really wanted to organise a get together in a place I can't even remember. Is it near Staffordshire maybe. There was a sighting of a strange creature nearby and I thought it would be hilarious if we all got together and tried to find it. Unsurprisingly, there wasn't much interest 😂

That's so lovely 😍 I met my 3 closest friends through Facebook and The League of gentlemen! We're scattered around the country but meet up every 3 months for a weekend and I love them.
