This weekend I meet my people!

30th Jan 2019, me and five others created a WhatsApp group after meeting on MN.

Four of us remain. This weekend we finally meet for the first time!

These ladies were with me for COVID. We laughed, we cried. Our toddlers grew in to children. We've experienced loss, illness, new jobs, studying.

Just wanted to enjoy that the power of MN brought us together. Unless there's a trucker called Dave who I'm about to accidentally meet this weekend!

I met a lovely group of likeminded MN-ers in 2021. We were so nervous to meet but now we see each other once or twice a year!

How come one is no longer in the group?

Ah how lovely! I also met some truly lovely friends through MN when we were all going through some shit at the same time and ended up posting on each others threads.

Our lives have gone in very different directions since then, but I’ve remained good friends with 3 of them and consider them some of my closest friends, as there’s an openness you get from someone who has supported you through thick and thin, heard all your innermost fears and thoughts, seen you at your lowest and knows exactly how it feels.

Good old MN. Cheers to your gang, hope you had a lovely meet up.

I tried to suggest a real life meet up for the purposes of ghost hunting, but I don't think anyone fancied it.

Admittedly ghost hunting with strangers might not be the best idea....
