Palestine and Pakistan are very different situations. Pretty much the only thing they have in common is both are Muslim, have little regard for Human Rights and host terrorist organisations.

Even worse is an insurance write off that was bought in an auction. It's been reported and a councillor told one of my neighbours that they've decided "no further action", not sure how or why he gets away with it. I've seen a lot of cars nearby with the yellow stickers on, but our road - nada!

In reality a lot depends on who the owner is and where in the UK this is happening.

Both countries are vast those away from the cities, military , politics, are just trying to earn a living . My brother lives in China, most Chinese are the same just plod on living a quiet life.

I'm not worried about a border skirmish just if there's a full declaration of war like the borders will close.

I know what you are implying and you may well be right, but we HAVE to report these things regardless, if you know for a fact that vehicles are uninsured and not MOTed or road taxed or whatever. Then at least you'll know what you are dealing with and can make a formal complaint if no action is taken by whichever is the appropriate authority, be it the council or the police.

You can't just sit back and grumble or assume that some sort of two tier system is being applied to people who flout the law, if you aren't actually reporting it anyway. That's just defeatist and does nothing to solve the problem. The law is the law and if the police fail to uphold it when something is reported then they are accountable.

There is no chance of all of India's borders closing even if a full war scale develops. It has never happened in previous wars.
