During your teens which female celebrities did you think of as stunning/beautiful?

I was born in '73 and have always had a huge passion for music. I suppose most of the female celebrities that I wanted to look like were singers. My top 4 were (and still are),

Sade (the most beautiful woman in the world imo and I still adore her music)

Debbie Harry

Susanna Hoffs (still stunning at 66)

Belinda Carlisle

Debbie Harry - goddess
Sinead O'Connor
Tilda Swinton (I was well into Derek Jarman as a late teen, also Orlando was formative)
It was a time of supermodels and I thought Cindy Crawford was the loveliest, then Naomi Campbell a bit later
Sade is so ethereally beautiful

I was born in 1972. My bedroom walls were plastered in pictures of Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, various actresses from the 1930s and 40s, and Mel and Kim. But Madonna was my ultimate beauty icon.

I even had my hair cut like hers. Couldn't replicate her killer cheek bones and pout though. 😕

Born 1987 and the modern ones I can think of, off the top of my head, are:

Jet (Gladiators)
Pamela Anderson (Baywatch)
Goldie Hawn (Overboard!)
Nicole Kidman (Practical Magic)

I also watched a lot of old movies growing up so I'll add:
Cyd Charisse - the woman in the fabulous green dress in that one scene of Singing in the Rain - I thought she was the most fabulous woman I'd ever seen.

Kim Novak
Jane Russell

I was an indie girl in the mid/late 90s, so would have loved to have had that sort of ethereal, 'manic pixie dream girl' look of the likes on Winoba Ryder, Isobel Campbell (of Belle & Sebastian) etc.

Unfortunately I was (and continue to be) 5'8" with the build of an Olympic skiier, so my natural frame didn't match the look of the time.

I'm still pale blue, which was the closest I got to being on trend then, BUT my naturally curly 3B/C hair is all the rage now!
